Spent 2 nights here. The room we had was very small and dated but with a decent sized bathroom. Excellent air conditioning which was definitely needed as it was 39 degrees one day and 30 at night. Very small lift but functional. Breakfast was okay but quite limited - boiled eggs, tinned fruit, cakes and croissants - no toast. The... More

Myself and my partner stayed in this little gem of a place for 3 nights for our first holiday abroad together. Great value as our stay ended up being roughly €50 pp each night (including the Rome city tax which is €3.50 pp each night). Our room was perfect for us, wasn't overly huge but all we wanted was a... We spent 3 nights at this wonderful hotel which has the best location, it was a short walk to the Trevi Fountain, so we took advantage of this and woke up early, getting some great photos when no one else was around. We had a second floor room which was large with a lovely balcony overlooking a quiet street. The... More

A former monastery in downtown Rome, this hotel is a walk away from Barberini metro station, close by to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps (5-15 mins). I wouldn't really call it a hotel, rather it's modeled like a B&B (but not one). It has limited space at the front desk, and just one elevator (old one). Each floor has... More

This is a great location, close to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. We had lots of hot water and AC for our hot June days!! It needs updating, everything seemed warn and tired. I had to ask for soap on our third day which I did not get so I ended up walking to a mini mart to buy... More

Very nice hotel in an area not far from the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona and Piazza Bernini. Good room with space for luggage. Good bathroom, although the shower is small. Lots of hot water. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would stay here again.

We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived and given some really helpful advice for using the metro and where to catch the hop on bus. Our room wasn't huge but it was more than adequate for a few night's city break, with a fridge, tea making facilities, a good sized bathroom and comfortable bed. Best of all... More

We stayed five nights in the Residenza Antica and totally enjoyed it. The room was large, it had tea making facilities and a fridge. The rooms are clean and serviced every day. The bed was comfortable and there bath room was large with shower only (which was average). There is an elevator but it is small, so one person and... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and found the location very convenient for most of the major tourist spots, and for the Hop-on Hop-off busses. ATM and good restaruants close. The room was so small we took it in turns to move around. Shower over the bath made quite a watery mess. Breakfast OK but coffee not good at all.... More

This hotel is centrally located close to "must-see" places and good restaurants. The reception staff were helpful. The room was clean. However, in our 2 1/2 weeks in Italy and Malta, this was our least favorite hotel. At the beginning of our vacation, we flew into Rome for 2 days and stayed in a hotel close to the Vatican (and... Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
