This hotel is spotless very clean in a great location. Room was very small and basic elevator is tiny but worked well. We left early so they'd didn't have breakfast ready. Fast checkin with helpful front desk person.

Friendly, helpful staff. The room was a good size and clean. Nothing fancy. There are several hotels in this one building, and Orlanda is on an upper floor, but there is an elevator. Breakfast provided was good. We would stay there again. Low price in November.

Friendly people, always willing to help. The lift too small. Had to pay an extra amount While checking out as city tax , which did come as a surprise. This was not mentioned while I did the booking. Limited choice for breakfast, but considering it was only € 3 , it was not a bad deal. Overall I would recommend... More

Visited with friends for 2 nights in September. On the third floor of an old charming building. Tiny elevator. Clean basic room with comfy beds. Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast available for a small fee. Good location with lots to do and see nearby. Bars, restaurants and stores close by and pastry/gelato shops as well. YUM

It is close to the main terminal station. Hotel was very nice, the room was clean and large enough. The housekeeper worked well on the room. The lady in the reception made a huge help throughout our vacation in Rome. If I go back to Rome I will be searching for this hotel again. The negative part for the hotel... More

This hotel is in the perfect location to explore the city and all major tourist attractions. The room we had was spotless had a double aspect window. You get some noise from the street but that adds to the experience of being in the heart of the city. Also there is the best Italian restaurant that we ate all the... More

My family stayed in Rome for total of four nights. Usually, we stayed in higher ranking hotels but we decided to stay in this family owned hotel after reading several positive reviews. The place is easy to find from Rome Termini, and there is a nice walkpath for the stroller and heavy luggages. It's very convenient and located close to... More

I have brought groups of university students to Rome for several years now and we always stay at the Orlanda. Everyone at the hotel is very helpful, guiding us to the most economical means of transportation, alerting us of opportunities in the city for tourists and generally making our stay in Rome unforgettable. It doesn’t matter if it’s finding a... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
