We spent 4nights here. Would definitely recommend. It's in a very central location for the Vatican, castle etc... Juan was lovely he set us up with a map and highlighted some excellent locations for breakfast etc!! If we are ever back in Rome we will be staying here again.

An excellent place to stay at when visiting Rome - clean, cosy and affordable. The caretaker, Stefano was really helpful whenever we needed some assistance. If I could rate it more, I would! Highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed here for my 40th birthday treat. Couldn't have asked for a better location, a lovely residential area within easy walking distance to the main centre and lovely restaurants and cafes close by. So easy from fiumicino airport just hoped on the the shuttle bus at only 6 euros each and got off at via crescenzio...

Just came back from a week in Rome, where I stayed at Cassiodoro 19. The accommodations are basic but decent. The room I stayed in was large for European standards, clean and quiet. Stefano, the host, is very good at giving suggestions to make the most out of your time in the city; I tried a couple of the places...

We love this place! Honestly couldn't fault a thing. The staff are second to none - we got the full rundown at check in on all the places to go in the area to eat, drink, whatever - and they were great suggestions that we really enjoyed. Stefano was warm and welcoming and extremely helpful. The room was great, bathroom...

My wife and I picked this B&B because of its location close to the Vatican. Juan and Stephano went out of their way to give us a welcoming stay. The room and bathroom are a good size and clean. Though no breakfast, we were out all day from 6am thru 7pm. Lots of food around. And they are very helpful...

No frills. Clean, comfortable, and friendly residential area that cannot be beat for the money. 3/4 mile stroll to Vatican City and a 2 mile stroll to the far side of the Colosseum with everything in between! The host was super friendly and sat down with us on arrival with a map, suggestions on how best to walk the city,...

An excellent little place! It's close to Vatican City and extremely good (I mean, really, really good!) local bars and restaurants. On top of that, it's beautifully designed! What more could you ask for? Oh, maybe a dedicated and friendly receptionist who welcomes you by giving you top tips about restaurants to go to in the area and around Rome,...

We stay here for 3 nights and spent hardly anytime in the room due to its close proximity to all of the major sites in Rome. The room is relatively small but very clean and well equipped with a fridge and kettle with coffee. Good value for money. When we arrived their Juan greeted us and gave us some great...

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
