We booked this hotel on Priceline for our last two nights in Rome. Priceline farmed the booking out to Agoda. Nowhere was it mentioned until we arrived at the hotel that there was an intense amount of construction going on. We were assured upon arrival that it would not start until after 10am and that they would provide breakfast to... More

We returned to Rome after 20 years with our family and wanted to make it a special occasion also in the hotel. This is why we chose the place carefully. Aleph hotel is in the process of renovating its' rooms, and to date at least the 4th floor is fully renewed. We stayed in the Barberini Suite and had also... More

Hotel is close to public transport and walking distance to most of the attractions. I cant denied that we were shock about the massive renovation upon our arrival (although they have already told us about it via email and compensate with free breakfast). Fortunately, the room couldn't hear much about the renovation. Staffs are so friendly and helpful, especially thanks... More

We booked a short break in The Aleph Hotel, and we suspected nothing was out of the ordinary - we were looking forward to a romantic break. We arrived to find the hotel swathed in scaffolding and the entire ground floor lobby closed off with massive noise and building works taking place behind huge white plastic sheets. The noise was... The hotel is going under renovation from the top floors. We stayed at the fourth floor which is very clean, great smell in the corridors, good service from the entire staff. Avoid the lower floors before they go through renovation. A 5 min walk from the Spanish steps, close to many tourist attractions.

We stayed for the May Day Bank Holiday. We're able to check in early. Had a lovely room at the front of the building which had everything we needed. Headed out after a quick hot shower to freshen up. Didn't return til later evening when we enjoyed the best apple and strawberry martinis we've ever had. Hotel located close to... More

Stayed on the recommendation of a friend. Was going through some renovations, so noisy during day. Rooms were very comfortable and well appointed , something you don't always get in Europe Staff were most helpful with places to see, some technology problems and anything they could help with. Location A1!

Dear Mr. Ahmad, thanks for the time spent writing this comment. We would like to specify that, being the hotel in an historical building, a former bank, our rooms have different size, therefore we have created various room categories, with different rates. Our gym is situated inside the former bank's vault and many of our guests find this very particular... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
