The staff was really helpful throughout our stay. The previous time they had sweet bread for breakfast on Easter, really tasty cappuccino. The bar downstairs could get quite noisy, so it`s a good idea to choose a room facing the inner garden. It`s peaceful and offers a nice view. Really nice terrace for breakfast. Room was clean with comfy beds,... More

We stayed for 4 nights in this great, little, cheap hotel. The room we had was on the top floor facing away from the street and was very quiet, clean and comfortable. Great hot shower, clean towels every day and beds made. Take your own shower gel and shampoo as those provided were ok but I'm fussy. No kettle in... More

Pros: Very close to train station and all the sights Very clean Lady in breakfast bar was very friendly Bed really comfortable Cons: When we first arrived, the gentleman behind the counter was unhelpful and told us to cancel our booking. Whilst we were booking in, it took forever as he kept stopping to watch the football. We found it... More

Stayed here in February. Good location very close to termini. Clean room small but functional bathroom,no view from windows just looking onto the back of a restaurant. Very noisy from the activities from restaurant, bottles being stacked into crates etc. Decent italian breakfast of cornetti, coffee and bread. Very miserable staff.

Hotel Corallo is a typical Italian hotel. Located near Roma Termini Station, you'll go anywhere from there. Our room was really nice, with a good shower and comfortable beds. Another good thing, is that even in colder days, our room was really warm even without a heater, because the windows are well sealed. Breakfast is good and we really liked... More

It was ok hotel. Rated 2** so I wasn't expecting anything to awesome. But location is nice ( 5-7 min to Termini station), big room, clean bathroom, AC. Breakfast is not a lot to choose from but still yummy & on a lovely terrace. Not the greatest service, but I would recommended it for city trip, when you need place to... More

The location is near the train station Termini. The room is quite spacious and very curata.Personal is helpful at the reception. Wi-fi works pretty well From Termini station you can take buses to most attractions in Rome. The price I paid was 45 euro / day in season from late January. As a negative point I note that breakfast little... More

It was low season when we stayed in this hotel. The price was perfect comparing to what you get. The room was big with good service. Italian breakfast in a lovely balcony. Close to the train station, metro and most visiting places. You could find good restaurants nearby. The room was clean and staff were kind and friendly.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
