The only good thing i can say is the staff at reception were very polite, friendly and helpful, all the rest was not good. 5 adults in a so called suite! The suite is only big enough for a double and a single bed but they pushed in a bunk bed to make up the extra beds. The bunk beds... More

Me and my wife spent 5 days in the Hotel while visiting Rome. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of this spic and span family owned Hotel. The Hotel is located just 3 minutes walking from Rome's Central Station! Definitely Reccomend!

We stayed at this hotel from 7th to the 11th of July. We are a family of four and the quadruple room was big enough for us. Moreover, the location was excellent and is only a minute or two away from Termini and all the tourist buses, like the Big Bus. The free breakfast is also good and the wifi... More

The housekeeping and restaurant staff is polite and helpful. Cleanliness- 4/5. The rooms and toilets are pretty clean. Tha hotel is near to railway station. This is the only benefit of staying in this hotel. The person on reception was very non cooperative. Breakfast room is also very tiny and uncomfortable to seat even for 10 ppl

We arrived at the hotel on 26th May 2016 at around 2:00 PM after touring Italy for more than 2 weeks (this was our last stop) when we were told that the room is not ready. We were made to sit in 3 plastic chairs upto 6:45 PM when only after threatening that if rooms are not allotted by 10... More

Dear Sir, I want to reassure you, we take into consideration all reviews from our costumers, whether, positive or negative. Anyway this is not the case. At your early arrival the room was yet ready. We offered to you a free early check-in. You just checked the room. Then you went back begging to change you room because, in your... More

There are a lot of good things to say about this hotel. I was on a trip visiting a couple spot in Europe and was treated poorly almost everywhere but at the Marco Polo. The staff there are very friendly. Upon check in without even asking the gentleman at the first desk pulled out a map and told us where... More

We arrived at about 5pm with 26 students after a long trip to find that one of the rooms was not ready due to plumbing issues. This was followed by a very unpleasant smell lingering in some of the corridors and rooms where students were staying. One of the teachers could not sleep that night due to bed bugs. More... More

The rooms were fabulous- very large and very clean. Very good location, just around the corner from Termini station. Staff were polite & helpful. I booked this hotel because it was advertised as accessible for wheelchairs. It is not accessible until you get up to the third floor of the building where the hotel is. There are 5 broad steps... Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
