In the very heart of the city centre on the corner of the Corso and Via Frattina. Five room guest house on the 5yh floor with elevator. Spacious well equipped room with large comfortable bed, plenty of closet space, a nice bathroom and a small balcony facing the Corso. No breakfast but plenty of cafes and take-away options in the... We've just returned from a lovely stay in Rome. The Relais Frattina wa ideal. Clean, comfortable, quiet, with friendly, helpful staff. It is as central as you can get in Rome. Small criticism - no English speaking channels on the TV and hard pillows, but this did not detract from a lovely experience. Highly recommended.

For our third wedding anniversary my wife and I decided Rome would be our destination. We booked the Relais Frattina for 3 nights and were absolutely delighted with it. The owner is very helpful and gave us a map on arrival, pointing out all the various, 'must see' sights. As dad a location is concerned it is perfect. Approximately 40... More

My family of four from Dallas stayed here only one night, but it was by no means remarkable. The building is shabby and the elevator itself requires carrying your luggage up a short flight of stairs. The owner/manager was good about emailing us because he wanted to know when to have someone at reception. Two ladies were there to check... More

Good afternoon. We are lucky that in an historic palace of Rome We have a working elevator and all customers are very happy because in the center is very hard find an elevator in palaces. You stayed here in August and the normal staff is in holiday, but the girl who you found spoke in English, also if a basic... More

Poor breakfast. It could be better if could serve more. Great place very close to Spagna metro station. Very close to shopping center of Rome. You can walk all the Rome from this place. Clean & big rooms. Luxury furnitures. Indeed. I will visit again in the next trip to Rome !

Dear customer. I omit and skip to publish on the website your threats written to me by email and your words towards a young madame like me. Despite you broke the deposit box drain of the bathroom we have fixed it without asking you money. The rooms are checked every time before a guest come in to verify that everything... More

After being in Europe for three months, I wasn't expecting to see how big the room and shower was in this place. Everything is clean and nicely decorated. Very cozy it is. Also the location is just wonderful! Restaurants and upscale shops are just out the front door. It is a very nice area to walk around at night too.... More

The visit at the hotel was really positive. The room is big and there is small balcony with a view to the main street. It located in the middle of rome and really close to many places by foot. This hotel defines boutique, with only four rooms. Spacious suite with two French balconies. Clean! Walking distance to most attractions (Vatican, Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps, Colosseum). Members of staff were very helpful, but be aware they're not around 24-hrs. Lift available, but it's tiny and very rickety. In-room breakfast was delicious.

It's a very outstanding boutique hotel with great location. Very close to everything. You can walk everywhere in Rome. The hotel is very clean and safe. You have to tell the staff your precise arrival time and they did stress us out through email at first but they were friendly and helpful once we got to meet them. Breakfast was... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
