Just few steps away from the Pantheon and walking distance from Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Navona Square, the Grand Hotel de la Minerve is housed in a 17thcentury aristocratic palace located in the historical city centre, the perfect location to experience a real roman stay. Completely renovated, the hotel has retained its noble, elegant lines and the atmosphere of a welcoming aristocratic mansion. Spacious, elegant rooms and charming ambience are enhanced by the property’s standout feature, the Minerva Roof Garden, an all-season restaurant open from breakfast to dinner that offers stunning views across the skyline of Rome.

My husband and I and our daughter and son in law stayed at Hotel De La Minerve for 4 nights 8/23-8/28. After much research online, trip advisor and rick Steve’s tips, we are so happy we choose this hotel. I decided to contact several 5 star hotels directly to inquire about rooms and rates. Some of which never even responded back. Hotel De La Minerve was quick to respond and the customer service I received was exceptional from the very first email. Barbara at the front desk was amazing in answering all my questions and made booking our stay directly so easy. Barbara and her staff always responded promptly and even arranged transportation for our party of 4 from the airport. The hotel is beautiful, clean and the rooms spacious. Not to mention the amazing view of the from our room of the pantheon and Piazza Della Minerve. You could hear the beautiful music each afternoon and early evening from the fabulous street performers. European accommodations often thought of as small and not well air conditioned, but this hotel proved that theory wrong. The location was simply amazing. You could walk everywhere. Trevi fountain, piazza Navona, Spanish steps were an easy walk from he hotel. Also, a taxi stand was directly out front, Which made it so easy to get to Vatican City and the colosseum. The roof terrace served an amazing breakfast with beautiful views and was great to catch the afternoon sunset and enjoy a delicious apertivio/drink. My family fell in love with Italy, especially Rome. We will be back, hopefully every year now and we will call Hotel De La Minerve our home in Rome. Grazie Mille to all that we had the pleasure to meet at the hotel, especially Barbara! Ciao for now! Tiffiney, Angelo, Nicolette & Michael

Originally we had planned to stay for four days but our 8 month old got sick, the hotel was very kind and gave us a refund for three of the nights, they did not have to do that. Cant comment on aesthetic or anything else about this property but wanted to write about the superb service. We got off a red eye, the baby did not sleep the whole flight we were exhausted. Checked into the hotel they upgraded us to a suite and we literally slept until our next flight so didn't really get the chance to explore the grounds. The hotel itself is in a great location and feels historic. They let us check in at 8 in the morning which is truly unheard of when check in is at 3. Now that I have a child I realize the importance of finding hotels that are extremely accommodating and family oriented and this hotel is definitely that! Hope to eventually return.

This hotel is truly within walking distance to most of the major attractions in Rome, including the Pantheon and Piazza Navona, which are both only a few minutes away. The room was clean and overlooked the Piazza della Minerva. I would suggest that coffee-making facilities be made available to guests.

This is a beautiful hotel located in the heart of Rome, literally within view of the Pantheon and a short walk to other landmarks like Piazza Navona. The service is fantastic and the rooftop bar is one of the best place to grab an aperitif in town.
