My room was very welcoming and comfortable. Breakfast was nice and the view was a great start to the day. Helpful, friendly staff who were happy to answer questions. The location was great for travel by either train station or to local attractions.

Spent 4 nights at this hotel. Room was clean and comfortable, only down side was that the air conditioning was very poor and we were unable to leave the windows open due to the road noise. Breakfast was included - help yourself buffet style, included make your own pancakes! Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the Mini Bar has...

Spent 2 nights in a Quad room with the family. The room was very good, the people were great, especially with how to get around and where the good restaraunts are. It's an 18euro Taxi to Rome Termini for the trains, but just 2 blocks to the city bus that will take you there. About a 15 minute walk to...

We've just spent a week in this hotel and it's fantastic. Very friendly and helpful staff, we e-mailed before the holiday and asked if they could recommend a taxi company to pick us up from the airport and they arranged the transfer both ways for a very reasonable price. The room was very spacious and clean with a nice comfy...

Stayed here for 4 nights in October 2016 as part of a City breaks deal. The hotel is on the outskirts of Rome in a more student area, however only 10 minutes walk from the nearest metro. On the way to the metro from the hotel, you will find plenty of shops and places to eat. The hotel staff were...

This is a simple standard hotel located at walking distance from the Bologna metro station. It is also close to very good cafe bars, shops, pharmacies and restaurants. Staff was very attentive and Fiorre was great providing information on what to see and how to get there. Rooms are basic and very clean. They are very quiet. The bath shower...

I just got back from Italy yesterday and stayed 5 nights at this hotel. Upon arrival we were assigned an extremely marginal small room. My travel partner posted a mediocre rating on his Facebook account, mostly due to room size and location, and the hotel management apparently read that and changed our room. The room they re-assigned us was considerably...

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighborhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
