Very pleased with our stay here. We did not pay a lot and I know there are more salubrious establishments in Rome, but this was a good base to see Rome from for a long weekend. It is close to an underground station so you are able quickly to get around the city, plus there are some nice restaurants and... More

The staff were very polite, friendly and happy to help. All spoke good English too which was very helpful. The rooms are small and in need of redecorating. Some nice little oiletries in bathroom and plenty of towels. Balcony was a good size though. Breakfast room was a little shabby and again in need of a revamp. Continental breakfast was... More

We stayed in Hotel Delle Province for 3 nights and 2 days. The hotel was neat, compact and well maintained and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly (specially the reception/front desk staff). It is located in a quiet neighbourhood close to the Bologna metro station which makes it very convenient to commute to all the important places to visit... More

What can I say..... it's clean and tidy and it's in a city so wasn't expecting a massive room. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Mini bar price was cheap and the bed was comfy. I would stay here again as it's perfect location to get around Rome.

There was a bed. A minibar. A bath. That's it. Not very charming but ok. We didn't spend much time in our room. Breakfast was nothing special. But if you choose this - you will live away from other tourists as your self. Close to university. And You live close to many nice local restaurants. Short walk to the metro... More

Just one night on return from cruise. Hotel had everything we wanted. I requested a balcony and they were very accommodating. Lovely big room. Décor could do with being a bit more modern though not important. Very clean. Mini bar very useful and cheap. Breakfast very good. We walked to the underground and were at the Colosseum in less than... More

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighborhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
