We booked a room for 2 adults and 3 kids. There was only two double beds and the one the kids had was broken. They were both pretty uncomfortable too. Other than that, the service was good and the location excellent.

Me and my husband stayed here for 2 nights in October of 2015! You have to go up a couple of flights upstairs to check in so with a lot of luggage it gets quite tiring. Check in process was fast. Front desk lady gave us a great recommendation for restaurants. Our room was another 3 flights upstairs and it... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week and it was just wonderful. The room was really big, the bed was comfortable, the staff were so friendly and helpful and the hotel was lovely and quiet at night. It's also literally a three minute walk to the Vatican. Prati is a beautiful area to stay in when in Rome,... More

Ideally positioned for the Vatican ( 10mins stroll ) the other tourist sight are around 20mins walk. The continental breakfast was good and the small dining room was ideal to get to chat to other visitors. Our room was an adequate size with a separate shower room and a loo with a wash basin. We had our own tiny balcony... More

We have stayed in many budget hotels in our travels and I would rate this among the best. The hotel is located very close to the Vatican and is within walking distance to the Metro. We walked most of the time, however to fully explore Rome from this location I would recommend using the Metro. The hotel room was clean... More

We booked this hotel after it was noted in Lonely Planet. Great reviews & the price is right. The staff are lovely and whilst our room was a shared bathroom it had a sink which was really handy. The room also had a fridge which was great too. The cons: I think they're still building the rooms. There was loud... More

The hotel is located on the corner of Via Boezio and Via Terenizo. The entrance opens up a few feet in where the door is located. In order to get in, you have to press the call button that is located on the right hand side of the doorway so that they can unlock the door. When you hear the... More

I had a great stay in Hotel Colors. The rooms were very nice and very clean. The colorful rooms made for a great atmosphere. The staff all spoke english. The location was great. It was a very short walk to the vatican museum or st peters basilica. Also very short walk to castel st angelo, and other sites. We skipped... More

Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Our room was a private with an ensuite shower. Toilet is down the hall. Comfortable but small ( we were looking for small as we had no intention of spending tons of time in the room). Breakfast was decent, small variety but served its purpose. Nice terrace to enjoy breakfast... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
