Good space in the room. Good bed, refrigerator, roomy closet, regular breakfast and treatment of people, that speaks in english too. It's near to Termini station (subway, reagular bus, touristical bus and train station). The only con I have feaced in Paris too: tiny shower place, even in a roomy restroom. There was a little leak in our restroom but... More

My girlfriend and I stayed for 4 nights in March and could not fault the hotel at all. Upon arrival the reception staff were friendly and helpful, as were all the staff we came into contact with. Location-wise, the property is ideal. Close to the main train station and metro stop, its so easy to find your way around. Its... More

A comfortable clean hotel just 200 yards from the main rail/bus/metro stations. The night receptionist was less than welcoming, everyone else was fine.

A group of 6 of us boys made up of my best friends and I stayed at the Sam Remo back in December 2008 for 4 nights for my 19th birthday. The hotel itself is in a fantastic location. It is about a 2 minute stroll form the Termini, which is Romes main train station. We got to many of... More

The San Remo Hotel in Rome is a 3 star hotel, I read the reports on this hotel before we went, and was little unsure, when we arrived we were greeted and made very welcome, the outside of the hotel looked a bit drab, it was not light up although it had lights positioned outside. We were shown to our... More

We stayed here for 4 nights, and as city hotels go this one was fine. The reception staff were very helpful, the room was adequate for 4 nights (although outside it was very noisy at certain times during the night ) . No tea making facilities in the room, but it had a hairdryer and a plentyful supply of clean... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
