Situated just 3 mins from Termini Station and 10 mins walk from Collesium. It is on the 4th floor of an building. But it is newly furnished and very clean. Staff was helpful. But breakfast was so good, it was normal.

It's near the Termini station and not that far from the Colosseum. I think Rome is not such a big city, everything is very concentrated, you can easily walk from this hotel to the Vatican city (which is the other side of Rome). Only problem: the restaurants in the neighborhood aren't really great. But the hotel is fine, clean rooms,... More

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The rooms are actually really nice with good showers. It's really close to termini so that's really convenient for when you're coming to and leaving Rome. The breakfast was simple but def good enough. The staf is really nice and helpful, they do smoke a lot in the stairwell though. Anyone travelling... More

Yes, as others have mentioned, the entrance is a bit strange. However, once you get to the 4th floor, it all improves. Rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable with ample storage space, TV and fridge. Bathroom, although small, is perfectly adequate. Shower is hot and the towels are soft and fresh (changed daily). Breakfast is good and consists of bread,... More

If I am to rate a hotel by it outside appearance this would be the worst hotel that I have stayed. In fact this is not a hotel by itself. The hotel is situated on the 4th. floor of 5 storied building near the termini station. There are more hotels on the other floors and they all share a small... More

Very old building but fully renovated hotel. Friendly staff even though not a lot of English spoken. Right around the corner from Termini station. The breakfast was lovely but the beds were very hard.

As with much of Rome, the staff smoke and although not actually inside the hotel, they do so in the stairwell/lift well. The smell was very unpleasant and wafted through to the rooms. The rooms were very hot and it is not possible to control the air in yr own room, except for opening the windows to the very noisy... More

I want to be specific so that others understand what this hotel actually is. Let me first cover the positive points. The hotel is very close (5 minute walk) to the Termini station so it makes it easy to get around. The hotel was also very clean with daily room cleaning service. The breakfast consists of one type of ham... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
