Had three nights here and it is a great Base for visiting rome. The staff are very friendly (sometimes not the most organised but didn't bother us). There are some great restaurants nearby and tube to centre just 2 minutes away. Worth considering
nice hotel not far from Vatican (2 train stations). good transport connection to center of the city (bus or metro). price / quality is great. Also there a bus station to airport in 10 minutes - so this is transport heaven :)

We took the Leonardo Express from the airport to Termini station and then got the Metro Line A to Cornelia station. Take the Via Aurelia exit from the Metro station, walk along the street until you get to the McDonald's on the corner. Turn right at that corner and the hotel is just down the road on your right. It's a very straightforward journey and a lot cheaper than taking a taxi. Enjoy your trip!
