After a long journey, we received a friendly welcome — A staff member offered to lift suitcases up the stairs since the elevator was broken. Unbeatable location, walking distance to many attractions. Tastefully furnished with all the linens and towels we needed. Fit for family. Packaged foods provided for breakfast (some items past expiry date), but kitchenette was useful. We were grateful to experience life in Rome!

Dear Guest, We wish to thank you for your review, it was a pleasure hosting you. Furthermore, we would like to point out that the elevator was promptly fixed. In regard of the packaged food, it is very weird since we purchase it on a daily basis. It could have been of a great help to know this once you were there... We do hope to welcoming you soon again in the near future. Kind Regards, Riccardo

A very nice, spacious, first floor, three bedroom apartment in the Prati residential area of town surrounded by coffee shops, restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries, and bars. The apartment is right next to the Ponte Sant'Angelo, the Vatican, and the Via Cola di Rienza shopping street, and is within 20 minutes walk of the Piazza Del Popolo, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, the Spanish Steps, and the main Via del Corso shopping street. The owner Francesco organised our 40 minute transfer (an 8 seater minibus) from Fiumicino airport at short notice, welcomed us at the front door, gave us a tour of the flat, and showed us how to use the appliances, which include air-conditioning, heaters, TV (with free Netflix), coffee machines, washing machine, and the front door security. He also highlighted on a map how to get to all the main sights by foot or public transport, and the best shops/restaurants in the neighbourhood to visit. The flat is already kitted out with milk, tea, coffee, snacks, salt, pepper, washing liquid, etc when you arrive, so no need to bring those. We couldn't have asked for a better place to return to after a hard day on the tourist trail. I would highly recommend this apartment and hope to stay here, if I ever visit Rome again.

After a lot of research I found this place and decided to book it based on it's location/price/reviews. I stayed here for 4 nights with my wife and two children (10 and 6). I would highly recommend the family room with the kitchen. It's literally an apartment. It was clean and plenty of room for us all. Clean towels were provided everyday as were shampoo and body wash. There was a powerful hairdryer in the bathroom too. The room has sky TV but no English channels but this doesn't really matter as they provide wifi so the kids watched films on their tablets. The location is perfect! A lovely pizza shop and ice cream shop across the road and we ate at the restaurant a few doors down called Da Trani which was very nice. I felt safe walking to and from this apartment, which is a must for me when I am away with my family. The staff are amazing and very helpful with the help of Google Translate they will try to facilitate any requests. If you are looking for a nice, safe, clean apartment to stay that is close to all the sights of Rome then look no further! All the past positive reviews are true and yes there is a small lift that can only take 2 people at a time but this is no issue as all it means is two trips instead of one.

Dear Guest, Let us take this occasion to thank you for your lovely review and for having chosen our property. It was a real pleasure hosting you and we do wish to welcoming you soon again in the near future. On a side note, we would like to clarify that the SKY TV service we provide, does have lots of English channels indeed as well as many other channels in different languages from all over the world. We are very sorry if you had no chance to watch any of them but we were unaware of this, otherwise we would have helped you out immediately. Kind Regards, Riccardo

Stayed here for 3 nights in January. I have nothing but praise to say about the room, the staff and the location. Me, my mother and daughter arrived and was greeted by a lady (I’m terrible with names) who was waiting for our arrival. She immediately put us at ease even through the language barrier. I felt quite ashamed that I hadn’t made more effort to learn the simplest Italian before my arrival :-( All members off staff tried their best with English but with MY failings we had to resort to google translate. We had a room on the 6th floor. The lift was a fun experience. I tried the steps once and from then I was thankful every time to get into that small lift that only took 1 reasonably sized person comfortably (will happily take 2 that haven’t over indulged on too much pastries/pasta/pizza!!) Absolutely take the lift as an experience of the whole visit!! Our room was exceptionally clean. Plenty of clean towels. Tidy bathroom. Clean bedding. No complaints at all. Nice balcony. No outside noise at all. Not that we noticed anyway! Breakfast was plentiful, but sadly none of our party are big eaters in the mornings. We really did try, and felt overwhelmed by the concerns of the 2 ladies that were arranging the breakfasts that we was not eating enough (especially towards the ‘bambino’ who was my daughter who had turned 18 on our arrival day!) There was absolutely nothing wrong with what was served but we was happy with a coffee and fruit juice. These 2 ladies were very caring and undoubtedly take pride in their job. Our beds were made daily, room was cleaned daily. I really have no complaints to make about anything. The hotel was very central to everywhere. We did not need to take a bus or train anywhere. We walked to everything. From the laziness of an 18 year old to the slight difficulties of a 64 year old and me in between. No-where was to much hard work to walk too (we may not have won any races and may have needed a rest in a coffee shop now and again ;-) ) I would absolutely recommend this hotel, I wouldn’t hesitate re-booking when I return (Rome is a beautiful city that you can’t help falling in love with so I will definitely return!!) It’s in the centre of everything and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Thank you to the amazing staff at Roma Central Guest House. I apologise for my shocking attempt at the Italian language and promise to be better next time.

What a lovely place. The location is great and the house is old and cozy. Room was nice and spotlessly clean! We arrived in the BnB and were greeted by a lovely older lady, who later turned out to be the cleaning lady. She didn't speak a single word of English but used Google translate and our conversation went on smoothly. The kitchen is small and simple but fully equipped and worked well. It was really great to have the option to cook for ourselves and we had such a good time. The owner came later in the evening and knocked on our door because he noticed a mistake in the receipt. It was quickly solved and he apologized several times for disturbing us and even ended up giving us a gift. A really friendly and kind hearted person! The tv in the room also had a LOT of channels and the option to see shows in their original language, which was not very necessary for us, but made our evening even more pleasureable! Breakfast was good! We could leave our bags after checking out, which was however a bit confusing because the lady in the morning struggled to explain to us where to leave them. Minor inconvenience which didn't make our stay any less pleasant. Takk
