Location of this hotel is really close to everything and great breakfast buffet. Standard rooms are really really small but you do not want to spend your time at your hotel while you are in Rome. The bar is bit expensive so find another location for your drinks! We were also over charged for candy that we wanted to purchased...

This was my first trip to Rome and My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Conveniently located near the metro. Every single one of the hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, loved the breakfast every morning and the room was clean, comfortable and inviting. My husband said if we ever go to Rome again, no need...

Great hotel in quiet area. Easy walk to most attractions. Good breakfast included. Staff always friendly and helpful with directions, restaurant recommendations, and nightly turndown service that includes weather forecast for the next day! Rooms are on the small side, but very clean and comfortable beds.

River Palace was in an Ideal position for walking to various sights...Trevi, Spanish Steps and the lovely Pazza del Popola...We were a couple of 'oldies' celebrating a 75th birthday....mentioned this at reception and a complimentary bottle of red wine was sent up to our room....a nice touch. Tea and coffee making facilities in room with plenty of tea and coffees...

A lovely place to stay and in a great location. The staff were friendly and helpful and our room was comfortable and very clean. I just wish I could have faced the Prosecco which was included on the extensive breakfast buffet!!

From the moment we entered this hotel they couldn't do enough for us. Excellent breakfast you could even have procecco if you wanted. Fantastic location. Rooms spotless. Just couldn't fault it. Hotel bar prices very reasonable.

Agree with other reviewers' comments. Staff are very friendly- you never arrive or leave without someone greeting you. The "happy hour" which lasts 5 hours each evening is a lovely touch. And the drinks are genuinely half price. Breakfast is beautifully presented and plentiful. Our delux room was a good size and nicely appointed. It was front facing so you...

Stayed at the River Palace Hotel for 1 night and it is truly a small spotless palace!!! From the minute we walked in today, we were all treated like royalty. From the checkin to the gentleman that assisted us with our bags. The room was not ready when we arrived in the morning. After exploring Rome all day, we returned...

What else do I need to say! haha. But honestly, the staff on the front desk were polite and extremely attentive, though you could probably do with a bell or something at the bar- I stood there for a really long time waiting every time I wanted another drink. The decor is very elegant and welcoming, though as mentioned in...

Staying in Parioli

Neighborhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavor of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
