It is hot here in Rome, yet we enjoyed Every moment in this Hotel ,starting from the fast check in to the very professional and helping attitude of all the staff. The rooms are very small but very well organized and furnished, the breakfast room is an ever lasting impression of hospitality and pleasure, very accessible by Metro,Bus,and train to Pizza del... Exceptional personalised service, close to the center of Rome. Great Happy Hour 5.00 - 10.00pm...., tapas sort of food for free, which the children loved. Will go back next time in Rome!!! The staff were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble.

Really nice hotel 3 blocks from Piazza di Popolo. Our room had a great bed and the largest bathroom of all the hotels we stayed in in Italy. The evening snacks were a real bonus--one night we didn't even go out for dinner. Breakfast was excellent! It's not on the most attractive street but it's great when you get inside.... More

We stayed at the River Palace Hotel for one night in Rome before we boarded our cruise ship. The hotel was beautiful, comfortable and clean. The staff was outstanding as was the included breakfast! We paid a little additional to get the deluxe double room and it was very spacious and lovely. We also requested a room on the back... More

I'll start with the positives: Staff are excellent and very helpful. Internet access throughout the entire hotel. Computer access in the lobby. Close to attractions (Coliseum,Forum etc) Now the cons Next to a tram line which produces a lot of noise. Breakfast underwhelming. Confusing elevator layout. Very small rooms. Overall the River Palace hotel is great for short three day... More

We stayed Aug 14 for 3 nights. We had 3 people in a double room that was pretty small. The bathroom was on the small side. The bed linens were phenomenal - very elegant. The staff including Sergio, Luca and Francesco were very helpful in finding us restaurants, making reservations, finding a pool complex, etc. They have a nice Happy... More

We stayed here for 5 days and we were looked after extremely well. All the staff are fantastic. There are loads of nice touches including half price drinks and free buffet from 5 until 10 every evening. It was my birthday on our second day and we came back to find a complimentary bottle of wine. This is a great... More

Great place, located within walking distance to metro and everything else. Definitely more economical for the money conscious. My room was a little tight, but it's Europe. Visit Maniash, a great Lebanese fast food spot around the corner for quick healthy food. Via Del Corso is 3 locks away where all your other Italian foods you want are located. Enjoy!!!

Staying in Parioli

Neighborhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavor of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
