We stayed here last week to celebrate my Mum's birthday. Fantastic hotel with a great location - within walking distance of all major tourist attractions. The rooms are on the small side but only to be expected in Europe - the housekeeping staff do a...More

Young and well-to-do families are the street flavor of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and
riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.

Osteria St. Ana! Amazing food and incredible service. Definitely one of the best meals we have had. And it isn’t far from the hotel. You will find reviews of the restaurant on trip advisor as well if you want to look it up.

The hotel has 'happy hour' lasting a few hours in the evening with free bar snacks. Can't recall exact pricing but when in Rome think a bit more than at home. But it wasn't extortionate. And yes, we did get told about an excellent pizza cafe which we walked to. It was recommended by the hotel desk. The staff were more than helpful to us and recommended good choices. Just tell them the sort of eating place you are looking for.
