The stay was made memorable bcz of the staff who were very friendly and willing to go above the call of duty to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms were quite small (especially if you are from US), you need to get adjusted to that. It is very conveniently located and walkign distance to most of the attractions in Rome

We have just returned from 4 day break at the river palace hotel. To say we were sad to leave is an understatement. This hotel is beautiful, the staff exceptional an location is perfect. Firstly the rooms aren't huge but they are perfectly well suited for their need. Marble bathrooms with clean towels an toiletries whenever you need them. The... More

we spent 3 nights here last week. We loved every minute, all staff we encountered were truly lovely and so helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was great, free buffet during happy hour was great. Half price drinks from 6-10pm daily, brilliant. rooms were very small but kept so clean and beautifully decorated. Perfect location with metro and tram just outside but... More

The Italian marble bathroom and wood panels, together with lots of wonderful decor give this place tonnes of character, it's just how a hotel should be in Roma!! The staff are so very friendly, with a smile and and every effort to help. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast buffet was lovely and never ran out!! The cocktails in... More

The rooms were small even for European standards but the staff really makes up for it. The front desk staff, the wait staff and the housekeepers were super friendly. The have a good breakfast but if you would like American breakfast ( that's what the waiter called it)like my husband they are glad to prepare that too. They were so... More

My Boyfriend and I stayed here to celebrate his 30th Birthday. This was our 1st visit to Rome. Before our arrival I had contacted the hotel to ask for recommendations and help to book several surprises for my Boyfriends birthday. They were amazing! I have never come across such friendly and helpful staff! Especially Valentina. Nothing was too much trouble for... More

Spent the Christmas holiday thru New Year's at this wonderful hotel. Our room was small but very clean and we were there to experience Rome not sit in our hotel room. The staff were well organized, informative and extremely friendly. They kept us informed of restaurants that were open during the holidays and where we could catch Christmas service. At... More

Very clean and well run hotel in a good location. Staff were plentiful, extremely friendly and showed great pride in their work. If you like walking (we do) then a stroll from the hotel through Piazza Popolo and down Via del Corso puts you on the right track to discover the hidden gems left and right of Via d Corso.... More

Spent three days here, very good location, within walking distance of most of places to see. The room was small but adequate, would have liked coffee and tea making facilities in the room. Also, no English channels on the tv, even the news would have been good if nothing else. We were in room 202 at the front of the... More

Staying in Parioli

Neighborhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavor of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
