We ended up at the Mayfair Residence because we were able to trade out one of our time share weeks. It was a little further out of the center of the city than we would of liked, but we still managed to walk to a...More

This hotel is very clean, modern, HUGE breakfast buffet. Few blocks from bus lines that will take you anywhere through the city. Safe neighborhood. Rooms are very nice, bigger than most.
Large bathrooms. Will stay there again. Great staff.

Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to
Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
