We had a fantastic time at this hotel near to the Colloseum in Rome. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the hotel had a stylish and modern decor. The breakfast was top quality but our real tip would be to try the dinner on the roof terrace for a romantic night. The waiter was very knowledgable and the...

I never book a hotel anywhere without devouring reviews on Tripadvisor and once again it was spot on. Like some other posters I stay in hotels a lot through work and it takes a lot for me to give a good review to hotels. On balance I have given the hotel an 'excellent' as opposed to 'above average' rating as...

Thank you to all the hotel staff at Capo D'Africa! They truly made our family vacation more enjoyable. We stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks (only reserved for 4 nights but stayed 2 weeks due to child illness). The staff was very accomodating to our last minute needs and booked us another 6 days at their lowest rate. They...

Thanks to TripAdvisor I found this hotel and booked a stay there for four nights earlier this month. What a fabulous hotel. My fiancee and I loved it. The rooms were very nice. The staff were all perfectly polite. Just a few blocks from the Colosseum it is a great location. We could even see the top of the Colosseum...

We stayed at the Capo d'Africa for 5 nights in June as part of our honeymoon and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Quite apart from the fantastic location (2 minutes from the Colosseum, shops, bars and restaurants but in a quiet, safe street), the hotel itself was modern, clean, stylish, with good facilities and friendly, attentive staff. Our room was a...

My husband and I spent five nights at Capo d'Africa in June of '06. We picked the hotel after reading reviews in some travel books, and then reading all the positive reviews on Trip Advisor. When our cab dropped us off at the hotel, we were quite impressed- the web pictures really don't do the hotel justice. Our room was...

We stayed here for 2 nights, on recommendation from TripAdvisor. Nice location, on a quiet street very near to the colloseum but the area is not as touristy as you would expect from being so close to such a major attraction. Lots of restaurants, cafes and a grocery store all very near to hotel. Shopping area etc was a 10...

We spent 3 days in Rome at the Capo before catching a Carnival cruise. Like all the other reviews here, we had a great time at the Capo. We were in a room right next door to the dining area upstairs and had no trouble with any noise from there. The room was very clean and very large. The staff...

I’ll add my 2 cents to these reviews and say that Hotel Capo d’Africa was the best hotel we stayed in during our 5 week trip to France, Spain, and Italy in September and October 2004. This was our first trip to Europe, and we couldn’t have dreamed up a better hotel than this for our last week in Europe....
