We loved this hotel. The location, two blocks from the Colosseum, can't be beat and yet the surrounding neighborhood is not touristy. The room was large, airy and quiet. The bed was so comfortable. The staff was top notch and recommended great restaurants we could walk to. We would love to go back to this hotel some day

This hotel is located just a few minutes walk away from the Colosseum and it's metro station. On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful member of staff who checked us in quickly giving us a map of the area and pointing out areas of interest. We stayed in one of the Superior double rooms for one... More

My husband and I really liked the hotel and location. The rooftop bar and restaurant has great food and views too. Walking distance to the Coliseum, and the tour they booked for us was worth the price. They are also in walking distance to pizzeria Luzzi which I highly recommend!

We just spent a wonderful week at the Hotel Capo d'Africa. We have been to Rome many times before, but this was our first time staying in this neighborhood, southeast of the Colosseum. We chose it because we were focusing on the ancient ruins on this trip, and the Capo d'Africa is perfectly situated for access to the Forum, Palatine,... More

Comfortable room with good air conditioning on the second floor (205) in a quiet neighborhood near many good restaurants, gelato bars, mini food markets and historic churches! This smaller hotel has a good location just steps from the Colosseum. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Taxis to most spots in the city cost about 10 euro from here. The front desk people are very helpful and the breakfast room servers are cheerful and always ready with a fresh coffee. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Very quiet at... More

Well-appointed, nice contemporary style, rooftop terrace with view of the Coliseum, very conveniently located to the Roman Forum and Coliseum. Fair priced for central Rome. Staff were courteous and helpful. Dinner on the rooftop seemed over-priced. Breakfast on the terrace very enjoyable.

We stayed 4 nights in the Capo d'Africa for our visit to Rome. We had a deluxe room (310), below the 4th floor, where the kitchen is located. I’m a light sleeper, so I could hear the noise from the post-dinner and the breakfast preparation. This usually occurred from 10:00 PM to 11:30 PM and then again from 5:50 AM... More
