Stayed in Rome in February for a rugby trip. Stayed for 4 nights. Lovely hotel. Very attentive staff. Breakfast was excellent. Lovely but expensive bar (20 euro for a beer and a gin and tonic). Really good location. Free and reliable wifi. First room we were given was in the annex which is a couple of doors up the street....

We stayed in the annex of the hotel and despite having no hot water one morning, the place was brilliant! The breakfast has a nice selection and the location puts you withing walking distance of the majority of sights to see in Rome! I would definitely stay here again.

The room was good, clean and comfortable - and location was great, within easy walking distance of the Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and Spanish Steps. The breakfast was extensive and exceeded our expectations, and they allowed us to check in early after we arrived early morning after a 40 hour journey from NZ.

Pleasant hotel down cobbled side streets within easy reach of all attractions. Continental breakfast is ok 7-10pm. Gin bar is worth a visit just for the large selection of Gins, slightly pricey (but we are in Rome) but worth trying one or two, they but on free appetisers which are great (careful they can fill you up). Rooms are ok...

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
