Just back from 4 days at Hotel Fori Imperiale. We stayed there 20 years ago (and our friends 4 years ago) and returned because of the position of the hotel in a quiet street close to Forum Romanum - with no tourists walking up and down the street. We enjoyed sitting on the roof terrace in the evenings. The rooms... More

I knew the rooms were small from the pictures online but was not quite prepared for how small they were. The mattress was extremely hard, but if you prefer hard mattresses that might not be an issue. I also could not control the temperature of the room from my room, but was told I could call the front desk for... More

Stayed in a single room since I was traveling alone. Small room and small bathroom but I expected that. Comfortable single bed and clean room. Morning breakfast was great. Eggs, bacon, various breads, cereal, fruit, various coffees, and juice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help me with a few things. Location is... More

Fabio booked the room for our stay and was absolutely great! He was very accommodating and super sweet! The rest of the staff was wonderful and made us feel right at home! They helped us with any questions and gave us some helpful information about getting around. Just minutes away from the Colosseum and great shops and restaurants! The best... More

This small hotel, located just a few steps away from the Colosseum, is the perfect base for a long weekend in Rome. Most of the sights are comfortably within walking distance, or a short tube or cab ride away. Our room was bijou, but had a lovely outdoor space: perfect for relaxing after a long day sightseeing! More importantly, our... More

This hotel is located in a quiet but great location. Very close to the Colosseum (just 5 mins by walk) and other tourist attractions. The staff were quite helpful and friendly. The room was well equipped with all amenities.

The hotel is within walking distance of just about everything. The staff couldn't be more helpful, particularly Favio, who assisted us with everything, even transport by bus, train and taxi. Rooms had been recently renovated and were a reasonable size. Only one negative we could find was that the shower was very small.

The hotel is located on a quiet street, possibly a little difficult to get to from the metro what with the area being half closed-off for works (it might be difficult to drag luggage through crowds of tourists). Being on a side street has the advantage of quiet both during day and night and it was really pretty to have... More

Location was great, close to Coleseum, close to bus routes, great terrace view to enjoy a bottle of wine and relax. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay, felt lucky to find this hotel. Breakfast buffet was good.

This was a terrific place in the most convenient location imaginable for site-seeing. While the room décor was charmingly dated, the room was clean and serviceable, had nice light, etc. The bathroom was small but immaculate. The entire staff is SO professional - even before I arrived, they made a reservation at the Borghese museum for me; they could have... More

Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt.
