We, family of 3 adults and an infant stayed here for 5 days.. The room was homely in short.. The breakfast was letdown as we were offered a muffin and a tea or juice.. It is in the city and hence easy to gt taxis.. Wifi was not working properly and there was no office incharge to contact.. We finally... More

My family and I stayed at Domus RomAntica while we were visiting Rome in 2015. The manager was kind enough to stay back to welcome us due to our late arrival at Rome. We were originally booked to stay there for 3 nights. However, we had all our things stolen in Rome and had to stay back an extra night.... More

Hard to find the hotel. No sign on the door. It's on the 2nd floor under a different name. The staff was great with directions & extra towels. The room was large and quiet with a queen/king bed and a twin bed. Mini-fridge in the room filled with goodies! Walking distance to the bus that takes you to the Terminal.... More

Very nice room, with a good bed, good a/c, a clean and well-equipped bathroom and black out curtains. It is however like renting an apartment (See Dean S review). We only saw the lady who checked us in once at the start. She did however recommend several nearby restaurants (including a booklet with everything in). She also checked us in... More

We started our Italian vacation in Rome, where we spent four nights at Domus RomAntica. The room itself was very nicely appointed with a modern flair and excellent air conditioning. The room was large with high ceilings and a step-up bathroom. One of our favorite features was the light blocking curtains, which helped us to catch up on sleep on... More

As other reviewers have said, don't expect a hotel - just modern, clean, well equipped apartment rooms in a converted old Italian town house. Reception is manned 10 to 4 usually and breakfast is by voucher at one of two nearby cafes...just coffee, cake and juice. So as long as you book knowing not to expect a hotel, you'll be... More

Good bed. Decent soundproofing. We did hear some traffic noise but we were able to sleep. There are restaurants and groceries within walking distance. I would guess it's about a 20 minute walk from the train station. We took a bus back for possibly 2€ strong wifi in the rooms. A/C. Clean. Feels like a residential area. If you jumping... More

Marcus was great - we were greeted on arrival and given full info on everything we needed to know about room, facilities etc. Good list of recommendations to eat etc in room. Room very clean, modern bathroom with excellent power shower. Only bad point was Wifi connection wasn't very good, although not too much of an issue as we were... More

We enjoyed the quieter neighborhood and it was not hard to walk to the big sites. Very quiet room so easy to sleep off jet lag. Very low wattage bulbs meant the room stayed on the dark side. We were offered a driver to pick us up from the airport and bring us here and so glad we went ahead... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
