Fantastic location - perfect for sightseeing! Staff were very friendly and really accommodating including looking after our bags for the day once we had checked out. Would highly recommend for a trip to Rome!!

My mum and I stayed at the Apollo during the Catholic Easter. We stayed at the last floor. It was wonderful. The bedroom always clean, the bed comfortable, the bathroom quite big, everyday renewing our shampoo. The breakfast had a big variety of coffees, juice, croissant e.t.c. everything someone could ask for, they had it. And last but not least,... More

We loved our brief stay at Apollo Hotel and wish we had a few more nights there! The front desk was always available and ready to help us with a smile. The location is perfect for seeing Rome's sights as many are within walking distance and there are tons of great restaurant nearby. The rooms were classic and quiet and... More

Bed was comfortable. Daily cleaning and fresh towels. Breakfast had enough variety for 4 mornings (probably not longer), taste was really ok, fruits, coffee available. Staff was friendly and helpful every time, independently of person. Room was the same as on the pictures. Wifi signal was really week on 2nd floor

My husband and I stayed at the Apollo hotel for 3 nights. Although basic it was clean, comfortable and ideal for what we needed. In a great location for waking to all the main attractions. Staff at the Apollo were extremely friendly & helpful. The breakfast room is on the roof top which is quaint and typically Italian, a good... More

Clean & tidy, if a little 'tired', this is a Fab place to base yourself if you want to be right in the heart of Rome. 5 mins from the Colosseum and the Forum, plus near to transport links, it was great place to base ourselves. If you're going out for food, don't eat on Via Dei Serpenti - head... More

Only about 10 min walk to the Colosseum. Older style 'boutique' hotel but has an elevator and is air conditioned also. Nice breakfast room on the roof terrace. Staff were VERY helpful and pleasant. Mattress was very old and needed replacing and on check out, I was charged 16Euro for them printing out an email with some tickets for me... More

Great location, friendly staff, good AC. Had a 4 person room and it was through a separate outside entrance but not an issue. The second bed was a foldout couch that my 2 teenage daughters reported wasn't that comfortable. Was certainly very squeaky! Housekeeping was good but shower and bathroom are very small and show their age. Dirty grout, shower... More

We stayed at Apollo Hotel for 4 nights and were very happy with the hotel and the staff. We had advised this trip was for our anniversary and upon arrival they wished us a happy anniversary and had also put a handwritten note and bottle of prosecco in our room. A lovely surprise! The room and bathroom were both a... More

The Apollo Hotel is on a road leading to the Colosseum and it is close to Via Nazionale making it very easy for us to use public transport. The hotel employees were really helpful, giving us good tips for catching buses and finding our way around. The hotel is close to both the Imperial and Roman forums, we walked around... More
