You will never forget Rome's allure once you see the enchanting view from the Residenza delle Arti. The Residenza delle Arti suites are located in Piazza Sidney Sonnino (near Viale Trastevere) on the second floor of an elegant building with an elevator, built at the beginning of the 20th century. From this great location you can relax and enjoy a fascinating view of life in Trastevere, a neighbourhood that today is all that remains of medieval Rome. The Residenza delle Arti is gracefully encircled by the remains of medieval Rome. Two sites that stand out are Dante Alighieri's house on Via della Lungaretta and the Church of San Crisogono. From these places, through the green leaves of the plane trees, you can admire the busy and unique life of epicurean Rome. hall Residenza delle Arti offers large and luxurious rooms with beautiful bathrooms, equipped with all modern comforts: individual air conditioning and heating in the room, LED TVs with free satellite channels, Wi-Fi Internet connections free in your room, and a direct telephone line with its own individual number. All of the rooms are stylishly furnished with Art Deco hardwood furniture, hand-made in accordance with that period's finest traditions. Espresso and cappuccino are offered for free every morning. It is easy to reach the main attractions of the Eternal City by foot from Residenza delle Arti, attractions such as Gianicolo, Santa Maria in Trastevere, the Botanic Gardens, the Pantheon, 1000 metres away (a 15 min walk), Piazza Venezia, 1300 m (20 min), the Imperial Forums 2.0 km (25 min), the Coliseum 2.0km (25 min), Piazza Navona 1000 m (15 min), the Fontana di Trevi 1.8 km (23 min), as well as the places that symbolize today's dolce vita and shopping, Campo dei Fiori, 700 m (13 min), Via del Corso 1.8 km (23 min), and Piazza di Spagna 2.2 km (30 min).

Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.

Residenza delle Arti is located in the Travestere section of Rome. The rooms are large and well furnished and the bathroom is modern and good sized. The continental breakfast is self-serve with beverages, fruit, cereal, yogurt, pastries and bread. Coffee and tea available all hours. The location is convenient to most all the major sights in Rome. The forum, Coliseum, Pantheon, Piazza Navonna, Piazza Venezia, etc are all within easy walking distance. There are also many excellent restaurants in Travestere. Residenza can easily be reached from the Rome airport by an easy train/tram combination trip that takes about 45 minutes. The hotel is a very short walk from the tram stop. The stay was made even more enjoyable by our host, Renato. He explained what the facilities offered, provided a map and list of restaurants in the area that former guests had recommended. He genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay and we certainly did.

Room was clean, great location and very friendly staff. Amazing visit 100% recommend. The only small issue is on a main road so could hear street noise but didn’t really bother us to much. We used the tram to get to the main attractions and train to airport all very easy to use from the location of the hotel

We stayed Mon-Fri on a first visit to Rome. From the start we were made most welcome by Ursula and Renato such wonderful gentle people. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was huge with lovely en-suite shower room, powerful shower. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in in a long time - Rome’s noise outside didn’t bother us (ear plugs are provided if needed - we didn’t need) - as soon as our heads hit the pillow we slept. Breakfast was right outside our door and a huge selection of pastry, cereal, bread for toasting and boiled eggs. Cold meats/cheese/yoghurt in the fridge - help yourself , have tea or coffee and take it back to your room - delightful! The area is lovely with lots of good restaurants and is also central for lots of Rome’s sites, bus and tram are also handy - we loved this place and look forward to coming back to visit Ursula and Renato, most perfect hosts , thank you . We (myself and a friend) stayed at Residenza delle Arti for 12 nights and we were so pleased to have selected this guest house for our stay. The location is PERFECT and provided easy access to the many sites in the area. We walked everywhere and felt perfectly safe. When I initially researched the place and read the reviews, many others commented on their positive experiences with the hosts Ursula and Renato. The reviews were so accurate! They both made every effort to make us feel at home right from the start of our stay and are the most genuine people we've ever encountered. We are so pleased to have selected Residenza delle Arti. I will definitely stay here again! Thank you Ursula and Renato - you are both true gems! Angela

"Like family" - I see that in other reviews and it couldn't be more appropriate. Ursula and Renato are the most hospitable hosts I have even come across. I was there visiting our youngest son, who is studying for a semester at a nearby university, and spent four nights at the inn. Each morning, both of them were present to check on me, handle any reservations at restaurants or attractions, and offer smiles and suggestions to get the day started right. On the last day, they sent me on my way early in the morning with a fresh espresso and a little bag filled with Italian specialties. Our son loved Renato and Ursula so much that he brought his friends to the inn to meet them - again, "like family." As for the room, it was perfect. Plenty of space, big windows for natural light, comfortable beds, great air conditioning for hot days, and a table and chairs to relax and take breakfast. The windows come complete with storm shutters to minimize the sounds of the traffic. The sounds of Rome did not bother me a bit - the church bells, sounds of the passing trams, and lively conversations are part of what defines the city. There's always the Italian countryside for those looking for a quieter experience. I've traveled a fair amount overseas and putting the hospitality and accommodations together, this was one of my very favorite experiences. Next time, we'll bring the entire family.
