My mom and I spent a couple days in Rome and this hotel was booked by our travel agent. I thought it was a pretty good deal as we paid for 2 nights and got 1 free and it included breakfast. The front desk staff is GREAT and very helpful and welcoming. I loved the breakfast – had a variety... More

The Ripeta is located right off Piazza del Popolo - which is an awesome spot. Plenty of shops and things to see. Galleria Borghese is not far (make sure you have tickets before you go). WiFi is free and pretty good. Breakfast can be included and is fine. Walk to shopping is a great help if you forgot something or... More

Previously stayed here in 2012 totally enjoyed the stay - this last stay was a disappointment - reception staff were good and up graded me to a better room once I complained - breakfast was OK scrambled eggs cold - breakfast servers not welcoming or inviting especially the tall bald waiter - also a wedding was on with loud noise... Outdated hotel, rooms need restoration and the hotel charge you for any basics such as tv, boiled water, and boiler nothing in there comes in the favor of the guest!!!!!!!!!!! Nevertheless great location. Would not recommend for families

I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel - the only reason for giving it 4 out of 5 is for the décor, as mentioned by others here, but it really didn't bother me. It's not like the wallpaper was hanging off the walls! Location is perfect - walkable to the Vatican and the Shops, a short... More

We booked a Superior Double. We got a Superior Double but it was smaller than pictured. I also think they must have redone the pictured room. Our room definitely needed painting, carpeting and new mattresses. Also advertise by Spanish steps. I didn't count this as being by them.

This hotel is in a really good setting just off the Piazza de Popollo. The building is in an old convent and on first sight is impressive but begin to look more closely and the cracks appear. We were upgraded to a junior suite, which was appreciated but the rooms were very tired with many marks on the walls. The... More

We stayed for 3 nights in July and found the hotel to be in a good location close to metro stops and the centre of Rome... we did, of course, pick the hotel based on these factors so that was not a surprise. The room (an apartment on the second floor) was a little dated and the corridors were in... More

The hotel is very central, with a lot of the tourist attractions (and shopping) within walking distance. The rooms are large and airy. The staff very helpful. The breakfast excellent (especially seating in the open central courtyard). Parking in right next door, so fairly convenient if driving (however, entry time for cars is restricted, and if I remember correctly, only... More

We are staying here on a friends recommendation and not impressed. Good location and nice staff but our room is a let down. We have a classic suite for two adults and one child on the fold out bed. The mattress has some broken springs so we had to line the base with blankets. The rooms walls are scuffed and... More
