Wonderful place that was a former convent now turned into a suite/hotel. Our room was very clean, with a kitchenette and bathroom. Service was excellent with the staff recommending nice breakfast place in the neighborhood, as well as places to meet the locals at night. Their willingness to have an early check-in when the staff was willing to make up...

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. It was a superior suite with our own entrance and nicely stocked kitchen. The beds were fairly comfortable, although the pillows were like rocks except for one of them. The deep soaking tub was wonderful after a long day of seeing the sites. It is fairly out of the way from most...

I stayed there for the weekend and loved it. The junior suite we had was one bedroom with a large livingroom - 2 sofas, TV with DVD and USB to put your own movies too, full kitchen and dining table for 4; the bedroom had a big closet, and a large bathtub and toilet (with toiletiers). Since we asked for...

very nice traditional hotel just off the beaten track with easy front door streetcar service to the Vatican and fine shopping and dining. 5 minute walk through the park to the heart of the Spanish Steps area. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Room was big and airy. only complaint was being late October we found cooling system was off and pool...

Our 7 night stay here has left me with a mixed feelings. Best I think to list my positives and negatives so that you can decide if it is the hotel for you. Positives: large well-equipped room, helpful and friendly staff, wifi, good breakfast buffet, close to lovely park. Negatives: Pool and gardens closed for winter period the day we...

Nice location by Villa Borghese park, away from the hustle and bustle of much of Rome, but still only a 15 - 20 minute walk to all the action. A nice diplomatic type area, with a Carrefour express 5 mins away, but not many restaurants. We had a 2 bedroom apartment, very roomy and adequate and helpful with the kitchenette....

I stayed six nights and the service was excellent. Nothing was too much bother including changing the sofa in the room which was a bit soft for my back. We had a couple of large rooms and kitchen facilities. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good and the pool area was lovely and quiet - an oasis in such...

Stayed for a 4-day break in late September 2016 having enjoyed our first experience of Aldrovandi Residence City Suites the same week last year. Rated it excellent then and will do so again. Very comfortable, well appointed bedroom suites complete with sofa, easy chair, dining table & chairs, TV, comprehensively equipped kitchen area, en-suite, etc. Even a complimentary bottle of...

A comfortable hotel with a swimming across from the Villa Borghese Gardens, both key relaxation factors after a day of exploring Roman riches. Large sunny room protected from street noise by triple Windows. Breakfast only passable. Service very helpful and friendly. Good value for location--if you do not mind being slightly away from the center of the action--and price.

Wow, I was totally surprised at the quality and value of this property. We had a huge suite with living room, kitchen, and a plethora of cupboard and drawers. Staff was wonderful with superb suggestions for dinners. Location is absolutely central allowing us to walk anywhere.

Staying in Parioli

Neighborhood Profile
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavor of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
