This is one of the loveliest B&Bs I have had the pleasure to stay. Each room was decorated in its own color scheme and furnished with comfortable beds. Heating and plumbing worked without any difficulty. The rooms and B&B were very clean. The B&B was comprised of 2 separate guest rooms and 2 separate bathrooms. One must leave the bedroom...

Lovely B+B with fantastic hosts Alex + Christina. Alex arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport (40E), this was well worth it, so we took the same taxi back to the airport. Once at La Duchessa Alex gave us tips and advice regarding the city and transport links to the city (15 mins by tram NO 8.....

This is one of the best B&B of our experience. The penthouse is located in the good neighborhood of Monteverdi, which is very convenient to central Rome by the tram line 8. There are other parts of Rome that seem closer but are actually harder to navigate. There are two beautiful rooms, each with its own bathroom, and very helpfully...

My husband, myself, and our friends visited Rome for a weekend and stayed at the B&B La Duchessa. Alessandro, our very friendly and helpful host, greeted us and made us feel so welcome. He took all the time with us we needed to plan our Rome weekend from transportation options to places to eat (take his advice!) to sequence of...

Great B&B. We followed all Alex's recommendations for sight seeing and restaurants, which were all great. Also very good transport link to centre of Rome in about 15 mins or so. Room with Sky TV was perfect and extremely clean. All in all this place gets our highest possible recommendation.

What can I say? La Duchessa was perfect for our two day stay in Rome after our cruise. Alex so very helpful and kind. Christina looked out for us upon arrival. Travel tips, restaurant hints and anything else you might ask about, Alex knew. Great location, easy to get into the city yet quiet and away from the craziness. Many...

Place is very nice, though lacking an en-suite bathroom. Web page showed as having private bathroom, so we thought it was en-suite but it was outside of our bedroom. There were 2 guest rooms and 2 bathrooms. However, it was little bit of hassle to come out of the bedroom in the middle of the night to go to bathroom...

My wife and I stayed here for 4 days in October. Room was clean and comfortable. Alessandro provided us with transit maps (including our first 2 tram tickets), suggested walking routes, ordered and printed out Vatican Museum tickets and recommended restaurants (La Ciambella , superb). Full breakfast has 3 options and is a treat when served on terrace. Attention to...
