We couldn't recommend Madrid Hotel more highly!
When returning to Rome will stay here for sure.
Service, cleanliness, location, room, bathroom, terrace... everything was fabulous. Antonio and Luciano at the front desk were so helpful and polite. We just returned from a stay at the Hotel Madrid with our thirteen year old grandson.
The hotel staff was exceptionally cordial and most helpful. Our room was a perfect accommodation for three and the service staff maintained the room in perfect order.

Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural
storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.

We arrived by train and local taxi to take us to the hotel. However, leaving the hotel we asked Hotel Madrid to arrange a car to take us to the Rome airport. You can arrange this before your trip by emailing the hotel. The car service was about 80 euros for five adults. Enjoy your trip and hope this helps!
