First impressions count. We were met by an utterly charming senior gentleman who spoke good English, gave us a nice free prosecco on the roof terrace, and offered us some good advice about the city. This place has been recently renovated (at least part of it) to a very good standard, making it classy, trendy, and high tech all at...

Hotel has been updated and everything is new. Small hotel with few facilities, but very clean. Breakfast with small selection, but very tasty and clean. Staff very friendly and serviceminded without exceptions, which is a nice thing. We really enjoyed our stay, but 200 euros per night is perhaps a little expensive, but overall still good value for money also...

This was our 2nd time staying at the Parlamento and it was like coming home. The rooms are decorated in true Italian classic style, are clean, and the bed was quite comfortable. The hotel staff is very welcomign and attentive to guest needs. We had a room opening onto the rooftop terrace which is a nice respite after a day...

We stayed at Parlamento boutique which is the first floor and it has been renovated, so the rooms are really nice and comfortable. The situation is perfect and you can go to many places on foot. The only thing they really must improve is the breakfast which was poor.

Forget all the old pictures of this hotel on Tripadvisor! The hotel on the 4th floor got refurbished in 2016 (during 5 months), with a perfect match of vintage interior decoration mixed with modern stylish accents. Spent 4 nights with wife and kid in this hotel. Small bathroom but comfortable with bath+ rain shower. Comfortable beds with many types of...

Stayed in the quadruple room with private terrace. Some might say dated, I would describe as classic and quaint - private terrace is not worth paying extra as it does not have particularly good views, much nicer communal roof terrace can be used for no extra cost. Comfy beds, daily room service, hot powerful shower ( quite small shower cubicle)....

We stayed for 4 nights on a City break. Booked for us by a family member and selected for it's location and price. We were very pleasantly surprised. It's a small, family run business which is very clean and where the staff are helpful and friendly. Typical continental style breakfast was excellent with a nice selection of fresh bread, ham,...

This beautiful place is being transformed in a magnificent boutique hotel. So don't trust the "ancient" photos of the hotel, as the first floor has already been completely redone anew, and the second floor will follow in the next months. Perfectly located between the historical center, villa Borghese, and other central attractions, we could do everything on foot from this...

Lovely little hotel with comfy bed and good hot shower. The roof terrace was very quaint. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It is close to amenities. Breakfast was more than adequate. Maybe a little dated but that added to its charm and it was spotlessly clean. I would recommend a taxi to find it but altogether highly recommend...

This boutique hotel has it all. It's the top 2 floors of a building built in 1530. You'll have to go through big green doors to enter the courtyard to get upstairs. If the doors aren't open , just press the buzzer for the hotel on your right hand side. They'll buzz you in. You can take 4 flights of...

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
