A friend recommended this hotel to us. It was perfect! Great location near Piazza Barberini, one block from Via Veneto. We were greeted with warmth and humor by the friendly, helpful staff. They gave us advice on where to go and even helped us get tickets to the Vatican Museum. The room was small but sparkling clean and very well... More

Very home and friendly feel in this hotel. Good air-conditioning, located in queit Street. Staff extremely friendly and English spoken. Gave us great tips what to do after seeing all the major sites. Breakfast is OK, could have more selections, but overall a great stay. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed for two nights on a sightseeing weekend in Rome. The hotel is in a good location two metro stops from the main station and a few minutes walk from the Spanish Steps and other attractions. Its a small hotel in a quite back street. Inside its very clean, good air-conditioning and a small garden. Breakfast was simple but... More

Hotel was in a great location and very quiet. We spent 1 night pre cruise. Found you could walk many places from the hotel and found good restaurants near by. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast room was very nice.

We returned to this hotel after 7 years and found it to equally as lovely as when we first visited. The rooms are small but well decorated with a clean modern European look. The rooms with a balcony are even smaller so skip the balcony for more room. Our stay included breakfast and free wifi both of which we appreciated... More

Attractive decor, small, clean rooms, good location: but we didn't get the VIP service they promise. Having travelled from Naples we ordered a late lunch -pizza. This was cooked by the staff on reception! After a long wait, 3 pizzas arrived at 5 minute intervals. They were awful. We ate them - we were starving! The manager however, was not... More

We stayed here just one night after our return from our cruise. The rooms at Modigliani are clean and modern, however very thin and you can hear noise from the other rooms or hallway. The welcoming we received upon arrival was average, just like any other hotel. (I guess we were spoiled after the hospitality we had received at our... More

Even though this hotel is well situated, our overall experience was deceitful. They offer the minimum of everything in the room. Our room was infested by ants the entire time we were there...all we got from the hotel manager was a slight apology. The staff at the reception is very unequal in the quality of the service. They have a... More

What a wonderful little hotel in Rome! From staff who let us into our rooms before checkin time, to preparing our drinks and a snack after a long day touring, to even making a phone call because we didn't speak Italian, staff went out of their way. The hotel is clean and modern inside, however retains that Roman feel. Located... More

Modgliana Hotel Good location, polite and helpful staff. We had a lovely but very small room on the third floor with a balcony. However breakfast was dire. I thought other reviewers were exaggerating about how bad breakfast was. It was the worst hotel breakfast I have eaten. Why serve rock hard cold boiled eggs.Terrible coffee also and uninspiring pathetic pastries.... More

Dear Guest, we are very sorry that you have not appreciated the breakfast service. We have to clarify that the breakfast service is very loved from other guests. This is because we give the utmost importance to the breakfast, we offer selected products and a huge variety of genuine food: homemade pastries, croissants, biscuits and cakes are made in our... Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
