Hotel is very close to colosseum. Being on the East side, it is however further away to the other attractions in the city, so prepare your walking shoes. As I was coming with my car in Rome, I choose this hotel for ease of access and parking availability. Although the hotel has no parking, there are parking spots around. The... More

This gem of a hotel is in a central location within 2 minutes walk of the colosseum and various restaurants. The rooms are large and clean and beautifully decorated. The roof top terrace is a sanctuary after a day walking around the historical sights. The staff at breakfast were courteous and helpful as was Roberto, the owner. We have no... More

We enjoyed our stay here, can walk to main attractions or take Hop On Hop Off bus. Plenty of restaurants, bars and a grocery shop nearby for essentials. The Hotel has beautiful decor, is comfy and we were fortunate enough to have a courtyard. Roberto and staff were very helpful and friendly and can arrange tours for you. I'd definitely... More

We spent 5 nights in this hotel at the beginning of June. The hotel is in a fabulous central location just down the road from the colosseum, handy for local transport & only a 5 minute walk from the metro. The hotel is decorated in a Renaissance style with beautiful mosaic floors, sumptuous fabric wall coverings & soft furnishings. The... More

We dropped by chance in this hotel and it was a great surprise. Everything is excellent and the personnel treated us very well, like we were family. We felt like home. Breakfast is very good and sufficient (coffee was exquisite!). We had the terrace suite and the view is fabulous. Our stay in Rome was wonderful, with the important contribution... More

We were 2 couples staying in Rome for a weekend. We wanted a good location but not in a very busy touristy area, comfy beds for a good night's sleep, proximity to good restaurants and bars. Celio is a short walk from many sights - Colosseum, Forum, Domus Aurea, St Clemente, Sta Maria Maggiore etc. It is a 20 minute... More

One street away from the Colloseum, the hotel doesn't look much from the outside. However inside it has mosaic floors and good quality Italian furniture which gives it plenty of character and a strong Italian feel. The owner, Roberto, is very helpful and makes sure you have everything you need. The room itself was fairly small but had a spa... More

Have just returned from a 4 night Easter break with my 20 year old daughter, hotel is immaculate and decorated in a very traditional Italian style - our twin room was just right for our stay with Jacuzzi. Location is perfect and there are a number of very good restaurants and cafes within a short distance, lovely garden terrace and... More

Rooms small-but nicely decorated and sufficient if you are out sightseeing. Helpful and friendly owners. Internet worked but nothing else-tv, dvd, jacuzzi, towel rail, ac all out of order. Didn't affect us as we were out all day. On whole , pretty good basic hotel. Would go again.
