Location of the hotel was steps to the Spanish Steps. Hotel is quaint, cozy and clean. Staff was accommodating and friendly. Would definitely stay there again. Breakfast included was good and had a lot of options. All day free tea and coffee is great. The free water in the mini fridge is a plus.

We spent a couple nights here to end our Italy vacation. The room was very nice with a spacious bathroom and great patio with a sunset view. The front desk was pleasant and there to help. Our only disappointment was the Spanish Steps were closed during our stay.

Loved this hotel. It is located right at top of the Spanish Steps. You go down the steps and there is endless shopping and dining. Fabrizio the owner of the hotel was so friendly and accommodating that his slogan of "Home in Rome" was understood immediately. We stayed in the Panoramic Suite which I think must have the best view... More

I selected this hotel based up on the location and the great reviews on this site. It was fantastic! The location, at the top of the Spanish Steps, is so central that I was able to walk to everything - from the Piazza del Popolo to the Colosseum, the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain. My room was small but not... More

My husband, son and I stayed for the second time at the Hotel Scalinata Di Spagna at the end of August (first time was in 2007) and we really loved the hotel. Is a small hotel with the most beautiful rooftop terrace over looking the city, which gives you the feeling of staying in your own place. The rooms are... More

We chose this hotel because of its location and it was great, although the Spanish Steps themselves were closed for restoration. The hotel is small and cozy, the room was not spacious but we had everything we needed (except the bathroom facilities were a bit dated). The windows overlooked the piazza but it was quiet at night. There was a... More

I stayed here with my grandmother for two nights - we were on the ground floor at the end of the corridor to the right of reception. The owner of the hotel and his brother are great and accommodating - we were given advice whenever we needed on places to go and nothing was too much trouble. The room itself... More

This hotel is great place to be when visiting Rome!! It's located just above the Spanish steps and in walking distance to most of the popular sites. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Our room had a small balcony to enjoy our morning coffee or evening wine and a small terrace that looked into a busy street below. The... More

Traveled with my husband and son and stayed in the Junior Suite, #10, the three windows at the front of the hotel above the sign. It felt like our own little apartment in Rome with the complimentary in room drinks and snacks, and the breakfast room/terrace with 24 hour coffee/cappuccino just a few steps down the hall. Breakfast served until... More
