The location of Albergo Santa Chiara couldn't be better, a block away from the Pantheon right in the heart of old Rome. You can walk to the coloseum in about 20 minutes and to the Vatican in about 30. The hotel itself would be a...More
Our room was absolutely fabulous for our family of 5. We had one of their apartments located on the 4th floor that was quite large. The room had two levels, a state of the art bathroom , sitting area, walk in closet, and a large...More
The hotel is lovely. Desk staff not overly friendly, but nice enough. The room we had (no smoking, 4th floor) was a bit difficult to get to. I actually got lost the first day..Room , by Italian standards, was good. Bathroom luxurious, but small. Shower...More
We stayed here for 3 nights. We'd booked a reservation at another hotel in Rome that was truly awful and totally lucked out when ASC had a room available at the last minute. As it turned out, the room they had open was a triple....More

With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa
drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
There were two lifts in the hotel.
In our case, we need to clime a few steps to get room.
And to go to breakfast room there were a few steps, too.
If you have serious knee issue, you should consider it.
