do stay in this area, but avoid this hotel at all costs. I chose this hotel because of the location, it is 50 meters away from Campo dei fiori a quite touristy but always nice square in the heart of rome. the hotel management is generically clumsy and badly organized. at least 4 different people manage the reception (one at... Stayed for 3 nights with our family. After 4 weeks of traveling Europe it was one of least favorites but maybe because it's A Rome thing...? Good mix of mainly European customers there, not many Americans. Pros + Beds super comfy! (Pillows not so much). We had 4 beds in our room. It was cramped but it worked. + service... More

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, and the hotel was a disaster from start to finish. We arrived at 3pm after a 14 hour flight, only to be told that our room was not ready. We arrived after check-in time, so this was extremely disappointing given how exhausted we were. We paid for the "penthouse city view", and... More

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and I have to admit that all good hopes I had once I entered the hotel were evaporated minute by minute. When I was looking for a hotel in Rome, I tried my best to find a very centralized hotel that is close to main attractions and transportation options, telling myself who... More

The location is pretty smashing, right in the middle of all the great sights to see and visit and in the evening if you're tired there are lovely restaurants to the left, a little square where there are buskers and other performers etc while you are eating. The hotel itself, is OK. The key to the room is like a... More

Front desk service was very friendly but the maids moved all of our personal items around and put our dirty clothes (clearly separated, and on the floor) back in our bags with the clean clothes and zipped up..Then the maids threw away my retainers that were sitting on TOP of a Kleenex on my dresser, management never spoke to me... The hotel is simple, very clean and has very helpful staff. Sometimes it was a bit noisy due to other guests. The hotel is excellently located around the corner of Campo di Fiori. There is also a nice roof top terrace. They offer a basic "in room breakfast" for €2.5 which consists of packaged products (including a croissant) and allows... More

I suffered an unexpected medical emergency on a recent trip to Rome and needed a place to stay to recover for a week; I also needed a place where the staff could help me out. The staff at Albergo del Sole did all they could to help me in any way they could, and I can't say enough good things... More

The best hotel for the price in the Campo de' Fiori and Piazza Navona area. Plus the hotel has parking. I have stayed at this hotel at least ten times over the years and I have always been very satisfied with the service and the facilities. The hotel deserves its three stars and never pretends it is anything other than... More

We needed a room just for one night in Rome and this was recommended by a local. It is well located very close to Campo De Fiori and an easy walk to the charming Trastavere neighborhood. This little hotel is extremely clean, has very helpful and polite staff and was quite comfortable. Plenty of clean towels. Not fancy but certainly... More

Staying in Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori

Neighborhood Profile
Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
