My boyfriend and I went to The Hotel Abruzzi in August and it really was the best I could have hoped for. The location was absolutely prefect, so central and within walking distance to everything. I really didn't notice any noise at all, even though our room was on the pantheon side. View was fantastic and when it was really... More

The location is amazing . We had a view right across to the Pantheon and took a family room which consisted of two double bedrooms (301-Pantheon view / 302 on the back side ) It's very central so we were able to walk everywhere. All the reception staff spoke good english and were very welcoming and helpful. We highly recommend... More

The hotel is very close to a range of attractions and literally a stones throw from the Pantheon. All the major attractions are within walking distance. There are a range of cafe's and bars surrounding the hotel or within a 10 minute walk - eg Piazza Navona. I found the hotel staff friendly and approachable. Drawbacks - there is no... More

Just back from 4 nights at the Hotel Abruzzi. We took the family room on the top floor (room 502) which consisted of a double bedroom, a single bedroom and shower room off an internal hall. Both bedrooms were big enough to also fit in a cot, and the double room had plenty of space for our toddler to play... More

We stayed at the Hotel Abruzzi for two nights in January 2013. The hotel is located a few steps from the Pantheon and is therefore in the heart of Rome. You can reach all attractions in downtown Rome on foot in just a few minutes (Piazza Navona, Fontana di Trevi, Campo de' Fiori, etc.). The staff was very friendly. Our... More

We booked this hotel after reading the great reviews on Tripadvisor and we weren't dissapointed. We were expecting a very small room, but the room was actually quite spacious considering you are in the middle of Rome. There was enough space for a writing desk, tv, fridge and wardrobe. It also had a small safe. The interior decorating of the... More

Stayed at the Hotel Abruzzi three times now with family and latest time solo and you just can't beat the location or the value for money. Six nights (Dec 20 - 26) at a total cost of a little over 600 Euro for a double room, always specify Pantheon view, and a single breakfast included is unbelievable as you walk... More

A friend and I stayed in the older part of the hotel in May 2012 for 3 nights. Their driver was ready for us at the airport to take us directly to the hotel. A wonderful part of town to be in! Great base for a day of walking. Buffet breakfast was good, could have had a bit more communication... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
