The location is great and so close to many important sites, the staff are very friendly and will always go out of their way to help. Very peaceful and at night you wouldn't hear a sound despite being in the centre of a vey busy City. Would and hope to use again, you never see all that needs to be... More

For a three night stay in Rome this was the perfect accommodation. Central, excellent facilities, safe & secure location. Continental breakfast - a delicious selection of breads, cheese, cold meat, croissants, pastries, fruit juice etc.

The location was great, a short walk to the Colosseum, yet It is really quiet and safe. The room and the bathroom were very clean and extra pillows/towels a bonus. Breakfast was continental but loads to eat. A metro ride to the Vatican. We walked and walked! went to mass Sunday morning and met a young couple who were married... More

I stayed here on a college trip in February, it couldn't have been nicer. Great location, reasonably priced, Alison and Tatiana in reception were super helpful with anything we asked about! Included breakfast was a very satisfactory continental breakfast with lots of options from cereal to fresh fruit. Only a 5min walk to the colosseum and nearest metro station so... More

A group of us stayed in the VillaIrlanda Palm Sunday week-end. The food , accomodation and welcome was first class. Breakfast was delivered to our rooms promptly and was delicious. The setting close to the Colosseum was ideal for touring Rome . We attended a lovely Mass on Palm Sunday and were cordially invited to refreshments after. The staff were... More

Finding a quiet hotel in a city as busy as Rome is a real challenge but for quietness, convenience and value it is hard to beat the Villa Irlanda. It is located on a quiet one-way street between the Colosseum and St. John Lateran. It is in the grounds of the Irish College (a seminary) and is a former convent.... More

When we take the time and the responsibility for making all if own holiday selections we can put some undue pressure on ourselves. Not to worry if you have booked at Villa Irlanda and let Allison do all the legwork. Actually, there didn't seem to be any call for a bullpen specialist. This Villa is one very well-oiled machine. And... More

I have not stayed at the Villa Ireland but studied for some time in the Irish College, your immediate neighbor. Wonderful location. Easy walk to St. John Lateran - the Pope's official church and given to the church by the Emperor Constantine. Down the hill to San Clemente built on a Mithraic temple, which can revisited and then to the... More
