This accommodation in the garden of the Irish College in Rome is really a hidden gem. The rooms are very tidy and clean , staff really friendly and for a place so central to visit the endless treasures of Rome very good price.

This monastery was quiet and peaceful and clean and I felt surprisingly pampered. They included slippers for me to wear and a chocolate on my pillow! The people at the registration desk all spoke English and the price came out to $97.86 for a one...More
On our trip we chose to stay at a number of abbeys and monasteries for a different experience. Of all of these Villa Irlanda was my favourite.
The name indicates (though I didn’t twig until we got there) that it’s an Irish Catholic Abbey.
No but you don't need one! Lots of lovely places around for wine and prosecco. We bought bottles in the supermarket and brought it back with us, lovely and relaxing in the evening out in the beautiful garden.
