Stayed for three nights in this hotel in a single room on a lower floor. Shutters on window broken could not be shut. View of dirty yard. Room was very small. The tea and coffee facility consisted of a cup, one sachet of tea and one sachet of coffee, no milk. There was a mini bar with only two or...

Strong personal service, good breakfast with meat and eggs not just croissants, plus excellent coffee. Good location for walking tours in old Rome. Very clean. Beds comfortable. Rooms adjoin a common sitting area, so you have a place to visit outside of your room. Right next to taxi stand, 5-10 min walk to Metro (Spagna), city bus hub across plaza,...

Nice central hotel, well located. The room (#22) was disappointingly small. Tiled floors throughout the hotel make it noisy for all. Very pleasant & genuine service however, that was a big plus. Good hotel for the price, but would probably stay somewhere else when next in Rome however

Great hotel! The location is perfect. Next to Via DE Corso St. and the Spanish Steps. Its near to many famous sites by walking. The service is excellent and the people who work there is friendly and very nice. If you go there.... Go to Roberto, he is making the best coffee ☕ in Italy (:

This is or looks like a family hotel. The service is excellent and the people are really very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not super de luxe but it is very well situated and all necessities are present. We had no time for breakfast but we saw the fresh bread being brought early morning.

There is simply no reason to stay here. There are better options throughout Rome. Tiny rooms and showers built for the petite. Bare amenities. Dirty towels and suspicious bedspread. Great location, but upgrade yourself; if really want to stay near the Spanish steps, know that it will cost you, splurge and book elsewhere. If you are tight on a budget,...

This was our first stay in Rome, and the Hotel San Silvestro was perfect. It was a great location to walk to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, etc. The staff was the absolute best and helped my family with my mobility scooter getting in and our of the building. They went out of their way to make sure we...

We booked this hotel at the very last moment - literally while boarding the plane to Rome. We sent an email while seated on the plane to expect us in the early hours. We were welcomed very warmly and with good humour. All the staff we encountered were helpful and extremely friendly and professional. The hotel was very clean and...

The room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was good and nourishing. The location was the best. Very close to the Trevi fountain, to the Navona Market, the Panteon and many others important tourist spots. Outside the hotel is a taxi point which have a very good price, a mini market and fruit stand with very good and fresh products.

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
