Me and my family visited Rome this past December and stayed at this wonderful hotel. The location in the Via Veneto neighborhood is fantastic close to the Termini station and relatively close to the Trevi fountain. The staff was great very professional and accommodating I really cannot thank them enough for all their wonderful service especially when they had breakfast... More

The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Rome, just 10 minutes walk from Termini and 15-20 minutes walk from Fontana di Trevi. We stayed in one family room from 22-24.01.16. The room is spacious, clean, good wi-fi, rich breakfast. Nice lobby room, bathroom. As a travel consultant I will recommend it to my clients.

Lovely hotel within walking distance of all the main sights in the centre and only 10min walk to metro station. Metro was easy to use and perfect for getting to Vatican/ Colosseum etc if you don't want to walk. Hotel staff were very helpful. Breakfast buffet did the job - croissants, cereal, rolls, bread, cheese, ham, jam, yoghurt, fruit and... More

Stayed in hotel for 7 days over Christmas with 2 adults and grumpy 12 year old. There are 2 separate single beds N another one for the youngster. Room was average but it is close and we walked to a few nearby metro to go to where we want. Wifi is available but a little slow as compared to what... More

Arrived at Rome Ciampino at 2am, I expected to pay a lot of money for a cab, i was surprised to find a bus shuttle from airport to Rome Termini station for 4 euro. Hotel Medici was only a 10-15 min walk from termini station, it looked far in the map but it was a short nice walk walk. The... More

Cannot fault the hotel. Very clean and fairly central. Breakfast is included in the price and was ok if you like a continental breakfast. Just be aware that they charge a city tax of €8 per person. Not sure if all the hotels charge this or just a few. Only stayed for 2 nights, so can't really add much more... More

Dear Guest, thank you for writing this review. We are glad that you appreciated your stay in our hotel: the location, the breakfast, the price. About the city tax, we are sorry, but this does not depend on our decision. The municipality of Rome has imposed a tax of 4€ per person per night, also by hotel stars. We hope... More

We had a pleasant 3 day stay in Hotel Medici. The staff was nice, friendly, the room was clean and the towels were changed daily. The breakfast was fine. The only thing that was bothering us was the poor isolation of the walls, and the neighbour was snoring like Shreck.

Lovely hotel, you get what you paid for. It was basic but clean with very comfy beds, lots of space and a big bathroom. Breakfast was simple breads, cereals, pastries, yoghurt etc. Downside to this hotel was it was quite a walk from all the tourist sites a good 25/30 minutes walk which after a busy day was exhausting! Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
