The Medici Hotel is the perfect hotel for visiting Rome: the building is close some of the major monuments of downtown, about 10-15 minute walk from the Trevi Fountain, the Quirinal Palace, Villa Borghese and Via Veneto, the street well known for Fellini's movie "La dolce vita", symbol of "the sweet life" of stars and jet set personalities. The hotel is also close to Termini Station, then thanks to the Metro and public transport it is easily to reach anywhere else in Rome. The Medici Hotel offers to guests large and comfortable living rooms: the TV room, a comfortable meeting room for 8-10 people, the breakfast room where breakfast is served as a rich buffet breakfast (during the summer months it is possible to have breakfast in our beautiful outdoor garden). The rooms have every comfort (Wifi, Safety Deposit Box, Telephone, Air Conditioning, Laundry Service, Tv, Mini Bar, Room Service, Private Bathroom). The Medici Hotel is located within the Aurelian Walls, near the The Gardens of Sallust, a significant archaeological site: for this reason inside the hotel are visible some Roman remains found during the renovation works at the beginning of twentieth century. The area is lively and well served by bars, restaurants, pizzerias and shops during the day, it is quiet and peaceful at night.

First time writing a bad review. Not a thing I'd like to do but I hope it could help somebody to avoid the unplesent surprises. I wonder. Who are the people who wrote about the cleanliness of this place. Or the quietness!!? Ok, the room is cleaned every day but it needs so much more. The carpet in hallway is just awful. Maybe there is no need for a carpet if it is that hard to maintain it. The room devor is typical Italian hotel room. But it is DIRTY. Not like dust on surfaces but like the walls, the curtains. And the hairdryer. OMG. Have never see something like that. Dirty. And if you get a room with windows to the street than no quietness - restaurant right under the windows. Oh and breakfast if you can call that so. Served in a basement. AWFULL. Didn't touch a thing. Went around the corner to have a coffee and croissant. The location was ok. And city tax had to be payed separately from booking reservation and no receipt for that.

Dear Kristine It seems strange to us that we are talking about the Hotel Medici, you are the first time you write a bad review, we who receive such a bad review. From tripadvisor we can't trace your reservation to see if you have actually stayed with us, which room you had, etc. If you've noticed all this filth, why didn't you let the concierge know? We could have verified the status of your room. It is a very serious thing that you write, in the face of such a fact we had to take action against those who cleaned your room. Why do you think those who wrote reviews before you made a mistake or think they don't have good eyesight? Don't you think your is an isolated case? I contradict you: the restaurants close at 11 pm, they are not noisy, they are small ,for families or in any case frequented by adults. One of our features is tranquility, as proven by multiple reviews, even if you believe that only your is right and true. Another thing that amazes me: if the room had been so dirty, why didn't you ask to change room or even the structure ?? It is obvious that the tourist tax is paid separately, you pay only after staying, you always pay on departure. It is not legal to collect the tourist tax before the customer has actually stayed in the structure. Read the receipt better, the law article is also reported, the amount of the tourist tax, the amount of the room and in the end the total amount you paid is specified below.

Hotel Medici is a hotel that’s a 15 minute walk from Roma Termini train station. We arrived in Rome at around 7am after a long flight from Sydney and were greeted by a friendly concierge, Stefano, who politely informed us that check in was at midday but we could leave our bags to wander around Rome. The room was clean and tidy with a working air conditioner for those warm summer days. Thanks Hotel Medici, we will definitely be coming back.

Unfortunately this was three months ago , I contacted them cancelling my reservation but I have NOT had my refund back! There is no way to contact them except via Booking . I wish someone can give me any email so I can get my money back ! Please !

it all seems very strange: a review so negative without speaking first with the manager .. Are you sure that you talk about the Medici Hotel in Rome ?? Is your booking non-refundable? We need more details kindly. Please email us at: info@hotelmedici.com and let's see what it is, but after this review, if the booking is non-refundable, I don't know if we can make an exception, since you weren't very kind with us .

This hotel was the best location for my first (& definitely not last) trip to the Eternal city. It is scrupulously clean, comfortable and a great value for money at the hight of the tourist season, at that. I was amazed to find a marble bench in the shower.! The staff are very helpful and would go to great lengths to accommodate their clients. Any repair is done promptly. The breakfast is nutritious with a great selection of tasty food and beverages. Everything is fresh and is kept that way until the last guest is gone. However, what makes this hotel special is the location-Via Veneto, Villa Borghese, The Termini train station and Piazza Barberini are all a stone throw away. Everything worth seeing is only a walking distance from the hotel. For my money, one can’t do better than this. Highly recommend!

Just come back from 7 nights here. Walked 15 mins from Termini station which was quite hard in the mid day heat! Receptionist guys were very friendly and helpful. Lent a plug! Room was cosy and bathroom is stunning. Immaculate & clean. Cleaned daily with new sheets, towels & toiletries. Single room: Plenty of wardrobe space & desk Bed comfy with 2 pillows & extra blankets Air conditioning lovely & constant WiFi amazing - easy to log on Shower powerful & hot but small cubicle Towels provided - shower, hand & bidet Little toiletries basket Safe - easy to use TV with different language channels Fridge with drinks but room to put own No tea facilities but I brought my own Plenty of choice at continental breakfast - not too busy either (staff hard working) Only seen other hotel guests at breakfast I booked this hotel for its location, cheap price and amazing trip advisor reviews! Only down side was the cleaners were talking and laughing in corridor at 8am which woke me up a few times. The corridors were also a little grubby but who cares! Quiet location with lovely restaurants & shops around - PAM local a cheap store. 10 minute walk away from the hustle & bustle! Regular buses 3 minute walk away. Would definitely stay here again. Amazing, beautiful & friendly city too. Just be careful of street sellers 🇮🇹💕
