The historic Grand Hotel Plaza has been featured in many movies. Set on Rome’s popular shopping street, Via del Corso, it has large elegant rooms with high ceilings and marble bathrooms. Although regularly modernized, the Plaza has preserved many of its original features and impressive interior design. The hotel's Terrazza dei Limoni, open all year round, is the ideal setting for a relaxing drink with great city views. An breakfast is served daily. All rooms and suites include air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. Each of the suites has a private terrace with spectacular views of the Spanish Steps and Villa Borghese, just a few meters away. You can even see St. Peter's Dome. This 5-star hotel is a 2-minute walk from designer shops along Via dei Condotti. The concierge can arrange taxis and airport transportation.

Nice hotel, very authentic, great friendly staff and wonderful meeting options! The meeting room was the most impressive I ever had a conference. Located in the centre of Rome, easy to go for a nice stroll in between meetings or for drinks/dinner in the evening.

Our dinner at the Grand Hotel Plaza’s Terrazza Trinità dei Monti was the perfect ending to our holiday in Rome. The breath taking panoramic view of Rome’s city centre from the fifth floor, together with the impeccable service and a simple but refined meal, made our dinner an unforgettable experience. It is evident that only the best Italian products were used to prepare our meal: ranging from a variety of Italian oils and cheeses to artisanal Italian ice cream for dessert. The wine was excellent, and the drinks we had after our meal were also impeccably prepared. The suffused lighting and simple but elegant decor gives the restaurant both an intimate and vibrant atmosphere, ideal for any kind of occasion. I enthusiastically recommend the Terrazza Trinità dei Monti, where fine dining, exceptional Italian products and breath taking views are merged into the ultimate Roman experience.

By far one of the best located and managed hotels in Rome. Reasonably priced with very professional staff, ready to handle any issues. We stayed here in June and keep returning as one of the most convenient and comfortable of all the hotels in Rome.

My husband, daughter and I stayed for 3 nights in August while traveling through Italy. We received a really warm and friendly welcome by reception who couldn't have done more for us. We booked a room for 3 and so were disappointed to find a third bed hadn't been made up and there weren't enough towels - this was put right while we were out, however for a 5* hotel I would have expected better. I felt the corridors to the bedrooms and our room were very tired and need of refurbishment, in particular the bedroom furniture was very shabby as was the bathroom. The bathroom was very scant on toiletries, there were no shower caps, shower gels or any other nice things you usually receive in 5* hotels. Water was provided at turn-down the first night but not again and when I asked for some, the rather abrupt man on the telephone told me I couldn't have any until later - which wasn't an issue i didn't want it there and then, just before bedtime! The bedroom and bathroom were both kept very clean and beds are really comfortable. At breakfast you have to find your own table (you aren't shown to one) and the fur mornings we were there i noticed that cleaning in the breakfast room wasn't great - there was dust all over the windowsills every day. Breakfast choice is vast. The hotel itself is beautiful, a work of art in many of the public rooms and the bar on the roof top is fantastic - and staffed by really friendly, efficient waiting staff. Location wise, its great and there isn't a lot of noise around. I'm not sure if I would go back, as Ive mentioned this didn't seem like a 5*hotel to me.

Dear Guest, thank you for the time you dedicated to describe your experience at the Grand Hotel Plaza. The compliments you reserve to our staff are really rewarding to us and encourage us to do even better. From your writing, we assume you stayed in one of the few remaining rooms – now really a few – which have not been renovated yet. We can assure you that we are now renovating the last rooms, to align them to the same high standard levels as the others. We will be very happy, if you return to our hotel, to meet your specific needs, making you appreciate the care we took in restructuring the rooms and renovating the furnishings. Looking forward to welcoming you as our guest again, Warm regards
