They claim to be a 5 star hotel. We popped into the bar and the drink were awful. The bartender had to keep asking another person how to make our very common drinks. He even told he she needs to study more (in Italian). My dirty olive martini came as ONLY vermouth and a lemon twist. Wouldn’t ever go back.
My favourite place to stay in Roma. We went here just after Valentines. Amazing facilities, beautiful views of the city and convenient to local amenities and shops. The food inside the hotel is good as well. They have several restaurants around the hotel area which all provide a different experience. Hotel offers you experience that you will never forget. I also highly recommend this hotel for their very good management team and Concierge. Style was everywhere. The trendy upscale ambiance, fabulous culinary options including in-room dining (and adaptations for allergies) is top shelf. Just wish the fine dining was open 7 nights a week. Room was absolutely amazing! Great view, comfortable bedroom and a good shower size. The beds were so comfortable and the bedding was top notch. Overall - an Excellent hotel. We had a wonderful stay. The staff were very accommodating, The food was very good. The hotel is close to everything. We look forward to return here soon.…
Spend a long weekend in a Deluxe Room w/ view on room 311. Although the room I stayed in has the usual wear and tear particularly the parquet flooring, for me it adds to its charm and soul. Great location. The hotel is surrounded by high end boutiques and walking distance to some major attractions.
All fantastic, the hotel is in a great location and staying there is a magical experience Staff are very helpful Only downside is a poor breakfast for a large price coffee and tea is cold and every morning we had to ask for big spoons to eat the cereal Definitely going back but next time having breakfast out
Bad quality bedding very old rooms , zero hospitality attitude, breakfast not good at all , parking not available they ask for 65€ per day for parking, all complains during my stay and hotel reaction just sorry !! Not up to 5 stars at all , I highly recommend to downgrade this property bad choice and very bad experience.
This is more of a museum than a hotel, so incredibly beautiful. We stayed 4 nights January '20 and were upgraded to a suite. Everyone from front desk staff to bellman to restaurant/bar tenders were so kind and helpful. Could NOT have asked for a more beautiful room, better location or accommodating staff. Thank you Grand Hotel Plaza for making our Rome vacation so special!
We enjoyed our stay during New Yer holiday. Great hospitality of hotel staff, gergeous interiors and great location within walking distance from historical places. It was our second stay at the Grand Hotel Plaza and we will stay at this hotel during our next trip in Rome for sure.
DO NOT TAKE THE FIRST ROOM THAT YOURE SHOWN!!! Ok, it’s old. But old doesn’t mean bad or dirty. I was very hesitant to book this hotel but was surprised to find that it has its own quirky charm. When you check in ask to see the room. If it’s not painted white like the pic on the website ask for another. World of difference . Once we got that straight, it really was all good. The room service was either lightening speed or soooo slow but was always good. Hotel staff really tries hard and could not have been nicer. Good concierge. The hallways are a little Stephen King. Who cares if you get the right room.Best part? The location. Our view was the bell towers of the Spanish steps. At dusk they turn pink. One block from Hermes. Once you realize the staff is kind it really was enjoyable. Breakfast? Meh..... …
ELegant and a real Jacuzzi tub! Only place I stay when in Rome. Right around the corner from all the real shopping in Rome! Classic style gives the feel of old Rome. Staff is very attentive and prepared. Even the regular non desk staff spoke English.
Best location as it very near to trevi fountain and Spanish steps. It’s on the fashion street of Rome. Colosseum and other major places are walkable. Metro station is near. I wouldn’t however, comment on the hotel staff and facilities. It’s existing for its location I guess.
