This is the perfect location for sightseeing in Rome. HUGE rooms as well. Negatives are luke warm shower water (it ran out three times on me during my stay which included four showers) and it can be a bit noisy/you can hear the hallway easily. I believe there are only 5-6 rooms. The entrance is a bit hidden and it's...

The main reason for the lower rating is because we were unaware that it wasn't a typical hotel, with a staffed desk 24/7. We were intentionally booking hotels so we'd have folks to ask questions and get recommendations when needed. Would have been 3 or 4 if we had known that before. Never met the owner, but Tomas met us...

Paolo F, Manager at Relais Teatro Argentina, responded to this review

The title of this review is totally unfair because the guest arrived following the Rick Steve's guide suggestions, and he explain exactly the kind of Hotel it is. It is not reasonable to have a six-room Hotel with 24/7 staffed desk. They arrived in the late afternoon and every morning they were out very early before the staff desk arriving......

This 6 - room gem is definitely a great find. It is located right off a bustling street but you wouldn't know it when you are inside this hotel. Once you see the Rossopomodoro restaurant, the hotel is directly on your right down the alleyway. Let me start with the negatives first since there were only two. It would have...

We missed the hotel entrance and walked right by it the first time. As our taxi driver only pointed us down the street and did not drop us off right in front. So, fair warning, it is a B&B on the second floor and the name is on the buzzer. We didn't take the elevator (if there was one) as...

Such a beautiful B&B, 6 room gem with character, modern amenities and close to all sights. This was recommended by Rick Steves. A good stay especially if you want to do all the touristy things in Rome but still tucked in a quiet neighbourhood. High ceiling, antique interior, beautiful washroom, however, wifi service is intermittent and very slow. There is...

We came here with family after a wonderful time in a Florence hotel. It is a B and B. The employees are very nice and it is walking distance to Pantheon and Forum. It was recommended by Rick Steves and is noisy, over priced, has luke warm water, does not include "breakfast" (coffee and croissants), has controlled air conditioning, poor...

Paolo F, Proprietario at Relais Teatro Argentina, responded to this review

I am sorry Mrs. Sparks was not in a good feeling. Relais Teatro Argentina is a small Hotel or Guest House not a B&B and does not includes breakfast that is an optional. Most of the people make a reservation with breakfast because it is fresh and convenient. Cappuccino, Coffe (Nespresso or american), Tea, Milk and cornflakes, with croissant, different...

This B&B style accommodation was in a super location - just about all the attractions were walkable distances e.g. Campo de'Fiori, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Colloseum and Roman Forum - although we took a taxi to the Vatican Museums as we had an early tour booking we walked back via Via Cola di Rienzo (great shops). The rooms were...

Stayed here 5 nights recently. This hotel could not have been in a more perfect location (as suggested by Rick Steves). 5 min. walk south of Pantheon, close to Campo de Fiori and many amazing restaurants. As RS says in his guidebook, it really was a wonderful neighbourhood to walk around at night. If you wish to take a taxi...

We took a pre- arranged taxi from the airport (Tomas helped arrange) and arrival, prior to normal check-in time, went without a hitch. Both Tomas and Paolo were very accommodating and professional. Paolo took time to review a local map and circle some highlights. I can't think of a better location in Rome. The breakfast with freshly baked croissants, fruit...

We've found this little gem based on recommendations from Rick Steve's travel guide and as always he does not disappoint!! Its an excellent quaint little hotel, centrally located- that is exactly where you want to be - in the heart of Rome, within walking distance from Pantheon, Colosseum, Fountain di Trevi, Spanish steps, even Borghese Gallery if you dont mind...
