From Lepanto station it is a short walk to the hotel. On the 5th floor is an area for relaxing and taking in the scenery of Rome. Staff very friendly, inform of the areas close to hotel on a map. The room is quite large...More
This is a tourist style hotel conveniently located to sights of central Rome and the Vatican City. The staff are pleasant. The rooms are small and reasonably clean. The rooftop bar has a wonderful view of St Peter's dome light up at night. The vending...More
Booked this hotel for a business trip some weeks in advance. On check in I was told that there was a problem with the booking and that they had been trying to contact me all day. (I had received no calls or emails, nor had...More
I wish I could have given this hotel 2.5 stars. The hotel staff is rude, except for the young lady who was frantically keeping food on the buffet table for breakfast. The rooms are okay. We were lucky enough to have a room with a...More

Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets,
quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.

Did not notice any smoking in the hotel, but there was a very, very strong odor of smoke in the rooms. At the very least, the wallpaper, and curtains have absorbed the smoke smell to the point that a complete renovation would be required to eliminate it. We enjoyed the hotel otherwise, but if you have a strong allergy, I would book elsewhere.
