Stayed at the Hotel Anglo-Americano between November 3 and November 7, 2016. There is only ONE thing good about this hotel...its location which is close to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, the Vias Tritone, Corso and Veneto. Now let me enumerate the problems, two of which I attempted to address with the front desk to no avail. Bear in...

Terribly disappointing!! The staff was very rude, the air conditioner did not work at all and we had an ant infestation in our room! Would not recommend this hotel! If you want good hospitality, cleanliness and free Wi-fi Do Not stay here!

We stayed three nights in Anglo Americano at the end of October 2016. The best thing about the hotel is its location. It's very close to the Trevi Fountain (5 minutes walk), the Spanish Steps also close by. Plenty of choices nearby for food and drink. The room we had (218) was small. No room to sit and read or...

Room and bathroom was a very comfortable and good size for two people with the only downside being that we had no one clean it for the 3 nights that we were there. (This could be because it was in an awkward location in the corner but not really sure) The hotel does NOT have free WIFI if you have...

Room was good size shower recess a bit on the small size. Staff was great and breakfast was enough to set you up for a day of sightseeing. About 10 mins walk to Trevi Fountain - we used no public transport/taxis at all - location was brilliant.

I left Buenos Aires in the company of my two youngest grand daughters via Lufthansa to Rome. We arrived in deluging rain and went straight to the hotel Anglo Americano. It is very well placed, near the Piazza Barbarini, Four or five blocks away is the Fontana di Trevi, Piazza Espagna, and Via del Corso where you find all the...

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
