My room was clean and adequate, and I found the staff to be mostly helpful. My experience is that the staff is as friendly as the travelers who approach them. I would stay here again. The location is excellent and within easy walking distance to sightseeing and shopping .

The location of the hotel is perfect The hotel is very near to spanish steps and fontana di trevi but unfortunately the hotel should not be ranked as 4*. The breakfast was not that good the cups were dirty and the cover of the tables were soo soo dirty. As for the bedrooms, they are very small and the towels... More

It was my 3rd visit to Rome. I've been in 3 stars hotels and it was better than a such 4 stars hotel. The room not clean at all. At 7.30 pm a room service girl enter the room while my wife was in! Poor breakfast. The dishes and the cups are too old and not cleaned well. NOT RECOMMENDED... More

Where does one start. We stayed on the 20th September for 4 nights. We are definitely not fussy over small matters. I have not reviewed this earlier because I needed to calm down. After a long flight, we were told the travel agent had not only put our name on the booking, but another name as well. They informed us... More

Stayed at the Hotel Anglo-Americano between November 3 and November 7, 2016. There is only ONE thing good about this hotel...its location which is close to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, the Vias Tritone, Corso and Veneto. Now let me enumerate the problems, two of which I attempted to address with the front desk to no avail. Bear in... More

Terribly disappointing!! The staff was very rude, the air conditioner did not work at all and we had an ant infestation in our room! Would not recommend this hotel! If you want good hospitality, cleanliness and free Wi-fi Do Not stay here!

We stayed three nights in Anglo Americano at the end of October 2016. The best thing about the hotel is its location. It's very close to the Trevi Fountain (5 minutes walk), the Spanish Steps also close by. Plenty of choices nearby for food and drink. The room we had (218) was small. No room to sit and read or... Room and bathroom was a very comfortable and good size for two people with the only downside being that we had no one clean it for the 3 nights that we were there. (This could be because it was in an awkward location in the corner but not really sure) The hotel does NOT have free WIFI if you have... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
