The good: Central location. Good cleaning. The bad: This hotel didn't have wi-fi. They will tell you that it will be ok ... tomorrow! The breakfast area are small and crowdy. Plastic glasses (on a four star hotel ), canned fruit (on a four star hotel). Even too few plates and coffee cups for breakfast. Poor! The ugly: In Rome,... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights and found the rooms comfortable and good and breakfast quite good. Great place to stay as you are just next to piazza barbering, with only a short walk to the Spanish steps, Trevi fountain and downtown Rome. Service was good

Average hotel, good location in Rome near a Metro stop, and otherwise not too far from the normal touristy sites. The room was a quad and was very crowded, the AC didn't seem to work and had to be controlled from the front desk. We never did get the temperature the way we like it. The front desk guy working... My wife and I stayed at the Americano in early June. We arrived early expecting our bags to be stored until check in time at 3pm. We were allocated a room immediately. Management could not have been more helpful. The room was small, but our needs were met. We had free breakfasts and could have gone back for seconds. We... More

We stayed here on Valentine's weekend for 3 nights . The hotel was very modern looking on the inside but old style on the outer . Location of this hotel is very good as it is literally on the door step of the metro, which is fantastic for getting around .the breakfast they offer we found lacked in variety, everything... More

Recently stayed 3 nights at this hotel (room 407). Booking of a double room was made by travel agent. Location: Good Wifi: Beware of the hotel advertisement of free wifi. We were advised by reception that free wifi is only applicable to guests who booked direct with the hotel. Bookings made through travel agents are not entitled to free wifi.... More

So, I feel I should start by saying that I had stayed at this hotel back in 2006, prior to its refurbishment. I'm glad I returned finding it has been refurbished very nicely with a modern and clean feel to it and serviced with two spacious lifts which were always easy for us to get during our five-night stay, never... The only good thing about this hotel is the location. The staff are disgustingly rude and treat you with no respect, they even hang up on you mid conversation. There is a tremendous city tax per night at this hotel, the Wifi is NOT FREE, you have to pay for it daily, the breakfast is continental, not full, and under... More

Although presenting 4 stars, the only advantage of this hotel is its location. The impression on the staff is mixed- some are helpful and friendly, some were ignoring us when we stood at the desk, and continue with their own private conversations. After the first night the room was made but only one towel was left for us. The day... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
