Spent 2 nights here in January, 2016. Hotel had everything we needed - bed/shower/heating and was in a great location very close to the Trevi Fountain with a brilliant family run restaurant right next door where we were privvy to some of the best hospitality we've ever seen. Staff were friendly and complimentary breakfast was adequate.

Rome is one of nicest places to visit and especially in the winter. The weather is not to cold and you can easily walk and tour around. To do that you would need to be located in the center where every thing is near by . You would require a clean place , friendly staff that can assist you and... More

We stayed as a couple for 3 nights from 11th-14th December and were unhappy with our stay here. On arrival we were told there is 'a problem' with our room and would be staying in the nearby Hotel Stendhal, not quite the start we wanted. We checked in the following day and found our room, on the first floor, extremely... More

We were just walking distance from the Trevy Fountain, Spanish Steps and Villa Borghese. Hotel staff were friendly, helpful and all spoke English. The rooms were clean and breakfast was plentiful. 10/10☺

Hotel in a great location, nice staff but very small rooms. Our room was on the first floor and the noise outside bothers me very much especially at night. No kettle and cups in the room. Shower small but well maintained. Ask a lot of money for a few hours until the flight. There is room for leaving luggage.

Stayed twice. The single room and shower small, but immaculate. Double room perfect, with balcony. Fruit was nice touch. Security good: triple barrier to get through windows, electronic safe. Biggest pluses the friendly staff and location. Nice, modest restaurants nearby. "Scottish" pub (Irish ale and friendly Irish bartender) around the corner. 7-8 min. walk to top of the Spanish Steps.... More

The hotel has upsides mentioned by others, mainly the location, and also friendly service. However we were disappointed with WiFi so slow it was largely unusable, and the lack of a window. Room was barely large enough to move around in.

You couldn't ask for a more central hotel than The Memphis. The hotel was within walking distance to a number of Rome's top attractions. We stayed at this hotel for 7 days. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Our room was small but very clean. Our only complaint would be the shower. It was small... More

Ideal location Friendly staff Would recommend as a base for a visit. Ideal for shopping, food n drink as well as transport (buses) The rooms are comfortable and the continental breakfast is fine. Would definitely go back.

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
