A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.

This hotel was a recommendation from a friend of my mom’s...she was spot on. The rooms were quaint and warm. The owner was at the desk and made a special breakfast to go for us on the first morning as we had an early tour...so special. We enjoyed the on site breakfast that was amazing. Checking in and out was easy...laundromat a few doors down and an amazing coffee shop a few doors in the other directions. Location is perfect for roaming around Rome...lol. We walked to everythign while we were there. And the sweetest staff and owner...pride and cheer was abundant. 20 rooms, family owned, felt like staying with a friend.

The employees at this boutique hotel are absolutely the best and nicest we have encountered anywhere in the world. They could not do enough to help us no matter how big or small the item. Our travel agent dropped the ball several times regarding our stay but the hotel was quick to pick it up and make it right without asking. Absolutely amazing!!!

My husband, 9 yr old son and I stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. The welcome drinks, pastries and fruit available in the foyer on our arrival were very much appreciated in the 30+ heat. The room was small but perfectly ok for our stay. Air conditioned, clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable (I like a soft pillow that holds its shape and doesn’t flatten to nothing). Breakfast was included and there was a good selection to chose from. The location of Hotel Memphis is fantastic as we could walk to the majority of historic sites and in the middle of good quality shops (I’m a Witchery/ Country Road girl). Also the cafe next door, Settebello, knows how to make a great cappuccino (yay😊).

Was very impressed with how clean and well maintained this hotel was. The pictures on the website don’t do the hotel justice. All the facilities you would need. Staff are very friendly and happy to help with queries. The hotel is in a good location 4 minute walk to Trevi fountain, 8 minute walk to Spanish steps and metro station which can get you to all the other sites

Stayed here last year in a single room- it was the smallest room I have ever stayed in so I learnt my lesson and went for a double room. Good size ,quiet and clean. This place is handy to so many of the major sights. Breakfast is adequate and the bowl of fruit in the room is a nice touch. Staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Will definitely return here.
