This place may not be for everybody. If you are looking for large, fancy rooms, this may not for you. It is a small hotel in a back alley, with a compact, but nice lobby. Our room was utilitarian and very comfortable, at a reasonable...More
We stayed at the Hotel Siena on our first night when we landed in Rome. The hotel had a very modern interior, and the beds are super comfy. Free wifi and air conditioning made the stay even better. The elevator is really small (especially for...More
Though our twin room was small it was clean and comfortable. Staff were most helpful. Our room was at the rear of the hotel so quiet. There were restaurants, bars and gelateries close by. Also a very easy walk to the Trevi fountain and the...More
We spent a few nights at Hotel Siena in September. Rooms although basic, were clean & tidy. Inhouse breakfast offering was mainly continental breakfast, with some eggs & bacon. Desk staff were helpful.More

The advantages of this hotel are its excellent location if you want to walk and see the sights of Old Rome, and the professional, helpful, knowledgable staff. Wifi was good.

Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural
storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.

It is a very easy short walk to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, great eating and shopping areas. You could walk to Colosseum and Forum although it would be quite a stroll. A short walk away there are areas for hop on hop off bus which is easy to get around and will take you down to Vatican. We found this a fantastic base when we stayed there. Very safe also for walking around at night. We loved it.

We also used the Airport Transfer which we pre booked and paid for with our holiday but reception will organise one for you. Our driver picked us up from the front door and drove us to our terminal and helped load bags onto trolley. He was very helpful. It was convenient and stress free. Highly recommend
