The hotel is in a quiet side street but close to The Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and main train station. It was a good base for exploring Rome. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. July was very hot so the air conditioning was fantastic to have.

The hotel is well situated. The reception staff were helpful. The rooms were dark and dingy - we had "delux" room which it was not. Our children had standard rooms and the "view" was overlooking pigeon poop infested staircases. The breakfast was inedible - when we enquired about the possibility of a boiled egg were told only do scrambled as... More

Room was comfortable, but lighting could be better. Shower over bath not easy to use and marble made bathroom very slippery. TV impossible to access. We had to leave hotel early, 10 minutes before breakfast was due to start, and staff knew this the night before, but we weren't offered anything. Also €12 room tax had to be paid although... More

A lovely oasis of calm. Competent, polite and attentive staff made us feel extremely welcome during our two night stay. A lovely breakfast with a great selection to choose from. We would go there again and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome.

Just got back from a short break at the Hotel Bailey's. A truly wonderful small hotel in the heart of Rome within a short distance from all the main attractions. Staff were amazing, so friendly and very helpful, in particular a big thank you to Gerard our angel in disguise who helped in rebooking our cancelled flight. I would highly... More

High ceilings! Marble bath! Gorgeous amenities in the room! And that's just the beginning. The service was fantastic, the breakfast buffet was more than adequate and the location is out of the way. it's a real neighborhood, close to several fine restaurants and two of the best gelaterias in all of Rome. Plus, it's very close to the Villa Borghese.... More

While traveling through Europe we stayed at mostly 3 star hotels and ALL of them we better than this hotel, which has 4 stars. First, the bathroom is a joke. When you take a shower, the entire bathroom gets soaked, I mean drenched. We had 2 inches of water on our floor after every shower and there is nothing you... More

This hotel is efficient, a very good location, and the hotel staff is courteous. The breakfast is fine, but after staying 3 prior weeks in Italy, the food was average, even a bit disappointing. The front desk gave us good suggestions on places to eat. The free wi fi is very spotty at best. The very positive is that the... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
