The rooms are small. Period. There's no two ways about how tiny they are. But again, you are in the centre of Rome and close to the Termini station. If you are one of those travellers who'd be spending very little time in the room and more exploring the city, you can definitely stay here. The breakfast is very good...

We started our 2 week tour of Italy by getting in a few days early and staying at the Hotel Diana. This is a very nice and modern hotel with a roof top bar and restaurant as its name implies. The hotel is conveniently located about 2 blocks from the termini station. The lobby is large with several sitting areas...

Ould have given a 5 stars if it was not for the noise. All night you can hear restaurants dumping their empty bottles in dumpsters and then by 6 am the trucks come and empty them....it was very difficult to have a good night sleep. The location is perfect with plenty of restaurants aroud. The breakfast is wonderful and done...

The Diana Roof Garden is a five minute walk from the main station which is the transport hub for Rome. It is a good hotel which provides a perfectly adequate breakfast. There are many restaurants close to the hotel which consist of pizza restaurants and the traditional trattoria. It is important that potential visitors to Rome understand the procedure at...

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. It is a nice hotel, but very small. Our room on the 6th floor was street side, so it there was a lot of street noise. We had a small balcony with 2 chairs and a small table which was very nice. But, our friends had a room in back on the 5th...

Dear Sirs, we regret about your sleepless nights, but we believe that when booking a hotel in the very center of a big and crowded city like Rome or any other metropolis of the world, the noise coming from the streets outside is a chance wich should be predicted. Beside we didn't find any proof that your bracelet were stolen...

Great conveniently located located hotel 5 minutes from termini. We booked a triple room and were delighted to be given a suite with a spacious very comfortable bed and a sofa bed again very comfortable in the main living area which gave us all a little privacy(room 323). The bathroom was very nice with his and her washbasins a great...

Great bar on terrace, good breakfast, close to train station. Our room ended up being pretty good (some in our group did have noisey rooms.) BUT our first night there water started dripping on our heads at 2am. We did move that night to another room, had to move again the next day to another room. The hotel NEVER offered...

Dear Sirs, thanks for your important considerations, but please be informed that we have 157 rooms, we received more than 300 people each day, and although our constant maintenance, due to the higer usage of the rooms some little failures might happen sometimes. What we do in those cases is changing the room and fixing the problem. Imagine if we...

Spent a long weekend at this hotel. Couldn't fault it at all. Family room was smashing. The location was great - for all types of public transport or just walking to sites . The roof top garden was perfect for soaking up the last of the sun rays in the morning and by evening sitting out at the bar. Reception...

We liked the central location of the hotel. The roof garden, 7 floors above the road, gave an air of tranquility to the location, plus fantastic views. Rooms could be better but adequate for a four night stay. Staff were very good and exchanged the first room they placed us in for a quieter one. Fair choice of food in...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
