We were really surprised by the quality of the service, the service, the overall comfort of the lodging. Very well located, you can visit many places on foot. The attendants were very polite, the overall structure of the hotel very charming and the breakfast delicious and very well served by very attentive staff.

The hotel is close to all means of transportation and at least six good restaurants. We could walk 2 1/2 blocks to the main terminal and catch a train to the airport, the bus or the subway. A lovely staff and even had a coffee service in the room.

At first we loved the hotel. And if it were just a review for the hotel, this would be a good review. But our experience was very different. We only stayed here for one night in room 608. Before I went to bed, I killed three little bugs on the wall and noticed blood coming out of them. I didn't...

Dear Sir, please trust in our deepest concern for what happened, we also regret to not having had the possibility to talk with you while you were here. We so hope that you are doing better now. As any reliable and customer care devoted hotel, we had already scheduled since years all the regular procedures and maintenance works to prevent...

Customer service was good. Being an early morning arrival, they held our bags in a secure area while we toured Rome. The room and bathroom were clean. The air conditioning was not optimal - was necessary to open windows. Shower had hot water but was small - a little challenging to move around but it was good enough for a...

The hotel is clean but there is no consistency in the rooms, some are remodeled some are not, we know because we had to change into 5 different rooms. The location near Termini is only convenient to catch the trains, there is nothing close to the Hotel other than the train station. The wi-fi was free but very glitchy. The...

Thank you very much for being so generous, we however regret that your stay wasn't completely satisfying. We just wish to point out that the hotel is at walking distance from Coliseum, Trevi fountain, Spanish Steps, St. Mary Major basilica, the most famous shopping streets as Via Nazionale, Via del Corso, Via Condotti and many of the most important museums...

Stayed at the Hotel Diana for 4 nights in June 2016. We were in one room for two nights following which our air-con broke. We were then moved to another room swiftly and provided a free bottle of wine! The care and swiftness regarding the whole room switch was handled super well - I commend the staff! Both rooms exceptionally...

We are really sorry to read this. We were sincerely believing that the hotel was rightly adapted, of course the direct experience of real people is more reliable that to be simply definied as "according to the regulations". We will be really pleased if you'd like to contact us and inform what made you uncomfortable. Your suggestions will be strongly...

We stayed 3 nights here. The hotel is lovely - rooms clean and very comfy beds. The roof garden staff are outstanding and made our stay! The hotel location was excellent with most attractions within easy walking distance. The termini is very close by. Would recommend this hotel - will definitely come again!

Had a wonderful stay at the Diana roof garden hotel in Rome. To get from Fiumicino airport to the hotel we got a Shiaffini bus from the airport to the Rome Termini station. It cost approximately 5 euros each way. There is a ticket office outside terminal 3 and buses come every hour I think. Journey time was less than...

The hotel has a nice location, we reached almost all monuments by foot (except for the Vatican. 1.5km to colosseum, 500m to Santa Maria Maggiore, 2km to Trinitá dei Monti, give or take). The proximity to Termini station is very helpfull to get the bus if you need to. We arrived a bit early and were allowed to check in...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
