Having read many reviews of this 3 star hotel we where duty bound to write a review off our time at this hotel. This hotel is like a fading lady that would love to be young again but that will not happen. We had 4 nights their, the receptionist were very helpful when checking in and through all our visit. The bedrooms... More

A shortish walk to the Colosseum and the Metro, this hotel is on a shady street in the suburbs, close to two parks. Rooms are clean and air conditioned; avoid the street side. Very inexpensive with great service, very helpful reception staff, and good food and diligent bar service.

We have just stayed for a week ay Hotel Cilicia and found it a good base to get around being near to the local bus service, it's a basic no frills hotel.but it's ok. The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke English too here are a couple of examples. We had a problem with the toilet on our last... More

We stayed in May for 4 nights on a sight seeing holiday. We got a really cheap price and I was worried this meant compromising on the quality accommodation however i was completely wrong! The hotel itself is very clean and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. To explaining the menus to helping us with which buses... More

My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights. Rooms were clean, and stylish, but lacked tea making facilities. Can't fault the evening menu at the restaurant and there was always plenty of a selection at breakfast. Our room was on the ground floor, at the back of the hotel so we weren't disturbed by the road. We found it as... More

Used this hotel whilst on a week long stay in Rome. It is out of the centre and for that reason is quite reasonable. The hotel is about 1 kilometer from the San Giovani metro station from which you can get to most places in Rome for 1.50 euro. The reception is manned 24 hours and the staff were always... More

If you don't want to be near the centre of Rome then this may be the place for you. Having said that, it's not in a peaceful area as the traffic is busy 6am to 8pm (at least!).The hotel is clean and the reception personnel are very good. The bar closes at 10pm but there are a few eateries around... More
