The hotel states that it has air conditions available; however not all rooms have this service . We are staying in room 104 , the temperature outside is around 35 degrees Celsius and even hotter inside the room . We talked to the reception guy and he said there's nothing he can do . Friends staying at cheaper hotels nearby... More

It is listed that they have central air conditioning but its hard to sleep due to the current heat . Other than that breakfast is very good , friendly staff . Nice location , if coming in winter the stay would be amazing but in summer the air conditioning is bad.

We travelled through Italy with our 6 month old and stayed here at the beginning and end of our trip. The location was great, right near the metro and train station which made it easy to get around the city. Accommodations were as expected and well suited for our trip. The coffee at breakfast was amazing!

I got mixed reviews before arriving at this hotel so I was kind of anxious. The staff there were very friendly and super helpful. My room was nice and clean, spacious too. It is a bit old, but it met all my needs. I have two windows in my room and have a view of the community. Shower was nice... More

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Its a short walk from Manzoni station (subway). It's in a very quiet street with a convenience store close by. The hotel in itself was shabby and outdated. The place could do with a make over. Breakfast was quite disappointing aswell.

I booked a room at this hotel after having it recommended by a friend. Location: Somewhat close to Termini (central train station), and if you do not want to carry your bags all the way to the hotel from the station, take a cab, they are quite cheap (at least compared to prices in my home country, Denmark). Also the... More

My son and I each had single rooms. The rooms were very small and shabby. There were missing tiles in the bathroom and the paint was peeling off. The wallpaper in the bedroom was badly marked. There were very few sockets to charge phone etc and I had to remove the tv plug to charge as the other socket did... More

This hotel has a good position in a quiet street but doesn't merit 3 stars. The rooms are shabby with stained wallpaper peeling off the walls and air conditioning units that barely work. The public areas are not much better with worn, stained carpets. The young man that checked us in was very good and helpful but the other reception... More

Our beds were twin size and they were VERY narrow. I think they were something like 32 or 33 inches wide. The coils could be felt which made sleeping difficult and uncomfortable. The breakfast was average. We would suggest staying at the Best Western that is right next to the underground trains. The hotel is on a quiet street.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
