Professional top to bottom. I continue to stay here, it is the best in town. Great location, friendly and knowledgeable staff. The rooms are spacious, the terrace restaurant is wonderful and courtyard is a great place to relax.

Location, location, location is everything especially when it's combined with service and lovely Rooms and suites. The rooms are decorated in a soft pallet of neutral colors with contemporary furniture. If you want a massage just phone their spa and book one. The garden behind the de Russie is a pleasant spot to relax and get away from the crowds.

When new 5 stars emerge Russie will have to lift its game. The service is OK but grudging. Location and past experiences took us back but we will be looking at the new or refurbished 5 stars next time.

The location of the hotel is excellent close to places of interest, good shops and restaurants and overlooking one of the great piazzas of Rome. Despite being in such a central location it has a beautiful bar under shady umbrellas and the restaurant is set elegantly in the garden and against a backdrop of trees and terraced garden. Amazingly as... More

An amazing hotel in prime location. The hotel is beautiful and set in the most inviting garden atmosphere. The service was impeccable -the best of any hotel we have visited. The food was perfect as well.

The level of service and quality of this hotel are out of discussion. I would like to spend some words on the yard. It's just awesome! You are in the very heart of Rome, between Piazza Del Popolo and Via Margutta (where Fellini used to live) but when you walk into this hotel you feel like being somewhere far from... More

Part of the Rocco Forte Hotels Group, and located between the Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo, Hotel de Russie provides an immediate and elegant immersion into Rome. The hotel is located on the Via del Babuino. What does that mean? Well, expensive shopping, if you’re interested. To me, it means a lovely, safe street that my family can walk... More

Located atop the Spanish Steps (Piazza di Spagna) and within walking distance from the iconic church of the Santissima Trinità dei Monti, this hotel is truly one of the best locations in the city, specially if you wish to go sit and take in a slice of the soul of the city by sitting on the steps listening to music,... This hotel is visually stunning, the service is impeccable and attentive and the accommodations are spacious and tasteful. It is located within walking distance of everything you need, shopping, the Spanish steps, gelato and people watching. The setting for breakfast is beautiful and calm.

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
